Pointedly Specialized
Dr Wachter specializes in numbers and classic heart conditions. My referral was for help diagnosing early detection issues and underlying contributors to already existing health issues, clearly not a good fit for her. She was short, cold and unprofessional toward my other health care providers, discrediting their diagnoses, prescriptions and explanations, asking no questions of my health or history, dissolving any confidence I may have placed in her. She was assuredly more interested in proving herself right than in helping me feel better. Expect a wait. The office staff were friendly. The environment was clean. The ambiance is one of industry, many cogs working to manage overpopulation of patients. I waited 90 minutes for a 20 minute visit, which was not rushed but also not helpful.

Very poor bedside manner
She was rude. Wouldn't give 1 sec to answer any questions or even let my husband speak for that matter. She was very unprofessional and rude from the moment she walked in the room over 2 hours past our scheduled appointment.

Excellent Doctor
Dr. Wachter is outstanding. Communicates very clearly so I understand the issues and options and explains the "game plan" going ahead. In addition she made special arrangements to get my wife set up for her pacemaker checks while there and save another trip (we're from out of town). Really appreciate her care and concern in every way.

Great doctor
Recently my 94 year old mother was transferred to EIRMAC from our hospital in Wyoming due to issues with her heart. Dr. Wachter and her fellow cardiac doctors were very informative and caring about the procedures for further treatment. They suggested a lower elevation and meds to help with her issues. I am so very grateful to them for setting up everything that was necessary for her care with Mesa View Hospice in Mesquite Nv. The transition went smoothly and she is now in this wonderful program with great nurses. Thank you so very much, My family appreciates all you did for her.
