Dr. Susan King, MD

I have been seeing doctors king for a while now she is my family's doctors. I have never had a problem with her attention to detail. She and her staff is great.

She fired me as a patient because my husband died, I was taking care of my 98 yr old Mother, I have stage 4 terminal cancer and was having anxiety attacks. She did not help I any way, said I was trying to bully her and then fired me as a patient!

Love Dr King, she is very informative and thorough.

Inconsistent in filling perscreptions. When they miss a prescription, they insist on more blood work and a visit before they will refill, even critical scripts. They charge $20 dollars to fill call in script, and then sometimes they don't fill the script. There is a serious com,o issue between her and her staff. We called for script refill and she was on vacation. We checked the next week on the script, no refill. I had a scheduled appointment the next week. When we meet with the PA we asked about the script.She said they needed more blood work, even though they knew I needed the script and didn't order the proper blood work.

Doesn’t seem to actually care about her patients. Extremely rude and short. Has a “I’m better than you, I know more than you” type of attitude. Extremely judgmental. Horrible bedside manner.

I’ve got sleep apnea and anxieties. Dr Susan King gave me the wrong medicine. It intensified the bad effects I was feeling already. I let Dr Susan King know about it and she refused to see me again and left me hanging. I was on the edge of committing suicide and she didn’t care! Worst doctor I’ve ever seen!

`she nor her staff are really clear on what I should be doing. I always felt confused. You also do not always see her but other staff. Which I do not have an issue with but others might. she would say I needed to do "things" and then go off talking about something else. Never following back up or what I would call wrapping up the visit On a quick note if you are allergic to dogs or are afraid of dogs this is not the place for you. There is one that occasionally runs around the office. I travel and the last time I went I had called to make sure what I needed to be done could be. They reassured me this could happen with no problem so I came down over 600 miles to hear that I need to go do "other test" before she could help me. Keep in mind I was leaving again the next day. Ugg At this point, I have moved doctors. I need to know what I need to be doing and when I need to do it. When traveling I need honest answers of what she can and can not do. Not horrible but not for me.

Doctor King has been my physician for 18 years. She has been incredibly important to me. She is a fantastic physician! I have experienced a number of physical difficulties. Doctor King has seen me through some tough times. Moreover, Doctor King has also helped me through emotional problems. Let me tell you what makes Doctor King so important to me and countless patients: She listens to her patients! She talks to you as though you are a lifetime friend. I cannot imagine not having her as my doctor. Doctor King's staff is similarly superlative. Receptionist Jessica is an absolute jewel. She is uncommonly pleasant. She ALWAYS greets you with a smile! I DEFINITELY recommend Doctor King. I would not only recommend her, I would drive them to her practice. Doctor King is simply the best!

I can with no hesitation say that I have never had a more thorough examination by any doctor ever!

Dr. King’s staff diagnosed me with a UTI. Three weeks, and two rounds of antibiotics later, I came back with same symptoms plus high fever and back pain. She just told me that I had an infection and that I’ll get better in my own after letting it run it’s course. After 5 days of a continued high fever, I went to an urgent care center. I had a kidney infection. This woman is neglectful and dangerous.

Did not receive the help requested. My appointment was a complete waste of time.

I cannot say I ever have had a better Doctor . She listens to you and pays attention when your talking. She takes care of everything . She's down to earth and explains things and recommendation s . I am so blessed to have her as my physician

I’ve known Dr. King for over 10 years and cannot express how wonderful she and her staff are. She is truly a gifted physician

Dr King is a kind practictioner that seems to have concern for me. She seems informed and researches any issue I bring up. Jessica, her receptionist is exceptional! The time management of the office is lacking. Whether it be a staffing issue, "patients that need longer visits," or time spent visiting the practice mascot...the dog, I expect a practitioner with 19-years experience to be better at managing their time than Dr. King is. My average wait time to see the Dr. is 45 minutes.

Dr. King is an excellent doctor. She listens and addresses all of your concerns to put your mind at ease. She is very sweet while also being very truthful (doesn't sugar coat), which to us is a major plus because when dealing with your health you should know exactly what's going on. My husband has been a patient of hers for more than 10 years and I have been seeing her for 3. We continue going back to see her (even after moving to Circle C) because she is that good!

There is constant turnover and chaos within her staff. They are unwilling to help you, from the doctor down the line to the staff. I spent a lot of money to have my issue diagnosed to be told I would need to pay for another visit so the doctor could give me my results. I visited elsewhere with the same report and was dianosed. This office called later to say everything was normal, when it was not. I requested the doctor to call she did not. They want your money, but they don't want to help!

I went to Dr. King and cried while telling her how bad I had been feeling for months. She stared at her computer the entire time I was going over my symptoms. When someone is crying, you would think that a caring doctor would at least look you in the eye. I walked out with no diagnosis and a prescription for antidepressants. Another thing, she has a sign on the wall saying that you are limited to talking about one issue per visit.
