Dr. Iorio looked at my area of concern and stated, “that’s not cancer.” No testing. Six months later I had the basal cancer in that area of concern removed via Mohs procedure. Dr. Iorio made me feel like a hypochondriac while my Northern dermatologist takes skin issues seriously. Dr. Iorio is dangerously casual and cold. Made me feel foolish for suggesting I might have a problem. Office tried to charge copay when I had met my out of pocket expenses. She said, “oh wait now I see it” but would have gladly taken a copay…I’ve never had that happen anywhere else.

Dismissive
31 years old, I have lived with skin problems since I was a child. She was very dismissive of my experience dealing with chronic skin conditions. Very short first appointment - seemed irritated by me. Dismissed questions about diet and skin health with no counter/explanation of why. I found a new dermatologist

Same as all the negative above - hardly listened to me when I attempted to explain the several Mohs surgeries I had in the past - dismissed several suspect areas that in the past had erupted to being cancerous.

I made an appointment for a rash on my neck and chest and to have a skin cancer check. Dr Iorio spent about 2 minutes in the room with me, she didn't even address the skin cancer check I felt like she had more important things to do than see me.
