Unfriendly person answering the phone.
I just called to make an appointment. The person on the phone talked really fast and when I asked her to repeat, she talked faster. She was definitely unfriendly. I won't go there for an appointment. Isn't it too bad? A friendly person would have changed everything.

After brain surgery, my neurosurgeon told me I needed to find an endocrinologist in my hometown. I found Dr. Henley and it was a great find! I have regularly scheduled visits each year and she keeps up with my health records. Anyone else needing an endocrinologist, should consider her!

Tried to schedule an appointment with Dr. Susan Henley. Asked to fax over info from previous doctors which I did on May 23, 2019. As of June 13, 2019 no call back from her office to schedule an appointment.

I have never actually seen Dr. Susan Henley, however, I have dealt with her front desk/receptionist personnel. One thing I can definitely assume is if Dr. Henley allows her staff to be as nasty to patients as they are, she must stoop to their level as well. Having just moved to CO Springs and dealing with Hashimoto’s, my PCM referred me to Dr. Henley. Not only is the waiting period 6 months out for new patients, her staff will treat you as if you are nothing but an inconvenience. No thanks..

Worst office ever! I was diagnosed with atypical adrenal insufficiency by my PCP. My PCP sent my records to Dr Henley's office on 6 separate occasions over a period of 3 weeks and everytime I followed up, I was told they never received them. When they did finally get my records, they told me there was no way I had adrenal insufficiency and I didn't need to be seen, even though I had blood tests that prove I have an insufficiency. I am now on life saving steroids because my PCP is a real doc.

Nearly impossible to get an appointment even 3 months in advance. Don't try to change your appointment because of life happening either, as you won't be able to do it. You have to show up 30 minutes before your appointment only to wait for up to an hour after your appointment time (my shortest wait in 2 years? total wait time 45 minutes-15 minutes PAST my appointment time). The staff is kind of friendly, kind of not. Forget your glucometer, not so friendly. No urgency practiced in the office.

Had a referral, called for an appointment, told I needed paperwork sent. I had a copy of my records and dropped them off. Went in 3 weeks later to see why I had yet to hear from them. I was told they requested additional info from my insurance company. I was then told that she does not prescribe the medicine I'm on and she never has. I had a choice, go on a different medicine that I know makes me sick and receive an appointment or try to find a doctor in Denver who will. I chose Denver.

She watched my calcium numbers stay in the 10's for at least 5 years. Lab report said I had 2ndary hyperparathyroidism at least 5 yrs ago, put me on vit D and said take religiously or else I would have a parathyroid issue. Jan 11,2016 had 3 1/2 parathyroids removed up at U.C Denver Health. Will NEVER go back to her.
