If you have PCOS, RUN!
Totally dismissive, judgemental, and overall held back tears the whole time. Recently diagnosed with PCOS and she did not address any of my concerns with my condition. She as also physically very abrupt during the sensitive exams and seemed annoyed that she had to see a patient so late in the day. Never again.

Will not be back
Cold, dismissive, arrogant and negligent. Spoke over me, did not listen to my health concerns but rather brushed me off. Did not go over blood pressure reading which was high. Summarized the 10 min she spent with me as age related and would not discuss any other possibilities. Never before have I had an experience when a doctor was so rude and made me feel so insignificant. Perhaps she is a good doctor to some, but in my experience, she did not show me anything positive. . ,

Extremely disappointed
I saw Dr. Hellerstein for an extremely sensitive situation. She was very aware of the fact but treated me so poorly. Did not listen to my needs or take the time to listen and talk through my concerns. This made me so uncomfortable. She acted above me and made me feel worthless. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. Please look into another provider if you are questioning her for your care.

I've seen Dr. Hellerstein for years, and with varying degrees of problems. She's been sensitive to my needs, my concerns, and a superb physician every step of the way. I can't recommend her and her team highly enough. I feel so grateful to have found that office.

When I saw Dr. Hellerstein for the first time, I waited an hour. When she finally came in, she was rude and didn't apologize for the wait. As I went through my own medical history, she stopped me many times to tell me that what I was telling her is wrong. Since I last saw her, I've tried to sched further appts with her but her sched doesn't work with mine and assistants won't let me schedule w anyone else. I also emailed her recently and she responded with "that doesn't make sense." Shocking.

She is very patient and explains thing to you in terminology that you understand. I don't feel uncomfortable with it like I am talking to a friend. I told my sister to switch over and see De. Hellerstein. I am very happy I have her as my GYN.
