Dr. Baker is a breath of fresh air in today’s healthcare.She is always available to her patients with a phone call for an appointment or just to discuss a problem you may be having. You see HER not a PA and she knows your history without having to look at the computer on your whole visit. She cares about each patient individually and has great suggestions and or solutions on solving your needs without always sending you to a specialist.I could go on and on….if you want the best health care available in Grand Rapids see Dr Susan Baker.

Everything Dr Sue does is better than I have experienced in all the Drs I have gone too. That says a lot at my age of 77! She LISTENS, never rushes and looks at the entire overall situation that could be the root cause including medical history and medications. Dr Sue answers detailed medical questions, provides answers in the office and on patient portal even on her days off and after hours. She is a wealth of knowledge and always respects me and shows enormous kindness. I would recommend her and her staff to anyone. MDVIP cares over and above any other practices in my opinion. Always an enjoyable experience with Dr. Baker. In particular, she is considerate of patients’ needs. This is especially important to me because my hearing is not what it used to be and Dr. Baker takes this into account. In addition, I appreciate the ease of parking and office access. Her office is a calm, quiet atmosphere where the office staff talk directly to me, not to their computers.

Dr. Sue has been my primary care physician for over 20 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have severe RA among other issues. Dr. Sue spearheads the whole team of specialists so that I understand the diagnosis and treatment issues. She has ordered labs and tests that you'd think a specialist would have thought of. I've never known her to be anything but caring, personable and smart.

Doesn't really care about the patient, just the money they bring in. Unfriendly, cold. Office staff rude.

Dr. Sue has saved my life twice! I am a very healthy athlete but had a difficult time sleeping. As a full time teacher, mom of 2 and an avid cyclist I NEEDED MY SLEEP! She did not put me on Ambien or Lunesta because of my energetic personality, but thought outside the box and I’ve been sleeping ever since! The past 11 months I have gone to knee specialist, had x-rays, an MRI, went to PT’s, saw a podiatrist and a second PT, plus a sports chiropractor-my knees were just getting worse! Yesterday Dr. Baker spent over an hour listening to me and diagnosed me with osteoarthritis of the knees. I burst out in tears happy to have a diagnosis!

I find Dr. Susan Baker to be caring and knowledgeable. She listens well and is practical in her recommendations. I often refer people to her when asked for a good physician.

Do not go to this doctor. She gives terrible advice and is not even up to date about what vaccines kids need. She was covered under our new insurance - but I’m going back to their old doctor and paying cash.
