NP should be investigated!
Julie Hought = NP Gatekeeper for this practice. She's the only person you see until the doctor comes in operating room for injections. Stay clear of this practice. Hought is the one who reads your MRI and interprets it, she's not a doctor. She's unprofessional, makes rude comments, lacks empathy & makes rash, poor, judgements. I've grown to distrust her. A year later, had an issue with another part of my spine. A different kind of doctor was doing decompression therapy and it wasn't working as well as he expected and ordered new MRI. She recommended stopping decompression, even though it was helping. Getting her staff to read that MRI was hard. Hought complained I was tying up her staff's time. It took 3 phone calls before a nurse said she knew HOW to pull it off the cloud. Shouldn't they have a current MRI for a different pain area? Run don't walk to another practitioner. No person in pain should ever have to suffer such indignities. Dr. Anderson success? Needed many shot repeats.

"Patient Care Affected" The procedure that reduced the Pain was amazing and effective. However I just fired them as of today. 1st visit the nurse was rude. I was switch to a different person. 2nd One due to cancelling my next much needed procedure due to an insurance authorization was denied. Which I was told I had an ongoing order. They will get pre-auth before next Appt. Found out two days before the appointment. I started super demanding they put me on "Well see if we can get you in" Schedule. After I stated I was retired disabled veteran and could have cussed worst they considered that a treat. So I fired them. Going through referral process again. You wake up with a hot poker in your back. I do not mind displaying my Name. Dr. Your Staff just got you fired!!!

I only was seen in liberty clinic twice and it was with the NPN. She was very abrupt and lied about one medication I was taking saying it had a drug to drug interaction. I've been on the same meds for 30 years and I'm a RN by occupation. When I finally said it was my right as a Pt that she tell me what the interaction was she said you can get high! I called to inform her of issues I had with new med.Iwas told they suggested Iseek alter. Pain magnet as she won't prescribe any meds. DO NOT GO HERE

She is actually is at Liberty Hospital Pain Management. I made an appointment and kept getting a nurse practitioner instead of her. I only saw her (not realizing it) when I had an injection. The nurse practitioner, Julie Hough, scared the life out of me by implying that a tumor I was going to have removed on a kidney, that I didn't even know was cancerous, had spread to my spine. She again, after having the tumor removed implied she saw something suspicious on my MRI of my lumbar spine! Not!

Wait time was ridiculous both trips - over an hour behind and the way the office bills is VERY misleading BEWARE. They are in network and take your co-pay like usual, but b/c they are associated with a hospital they code it as out patient which is MUCH MORE expensive. When reviewing your insurance they should make you aware of this so you have a choice to be treated - what I thought was costing $25 ended up costing me nearly $300 and I have great insurance, Billing Dept says it happens a lot!
