Dr. Suresh Prabhu, MD

Been seeing Dr. Prabhu for about a year and he is great! Listens, doesn't rush out, knowledgeable, etc. However, prescriptions do not always get to pharmacy and hard time getting ahold of office during their business hours. When the option to leave a message is available, it's a hit or miss on whether you get a call back that day, 3 days from then or never. Sometimes I have left messages 3 days in a row with no response regarding my billing and prescriptions. If I leave a message for an appointment I usually get a call right back. If office could be more on top of things, this would be a 5 star review.

I have seen him for over 10 years. he is awesome. easy to get into see him. spends the time you need. has alot of office staff to assist in your needs.

Dr. Prabhu is extremely knowledgeable and caring- at my first visit he took his time and was familiar with all of my conditions and specialists- I will be only too happy to return to his office and maintain my treatment there- thank you Dr. Vicuna for recommending Dr. Prabhu to me.

I was completely shocked… this doctor ordered blood work and an ultrasound and then ghosted!! After three weeks, my pain is just as bad and I still haven’t heard from his office on the results. When trying to call (during business hours) the “call back during normal business hours” recording played every time. There was no way to leave a message and there is no website where you can send an email. If you actually want anything done, stay as far away from this doctor as possible.

My husband Tim and I both go to Dr. Prabhu We give him 5 stars. he listens well and we think the world of him. Sometimes the wait times can get a little long, like any Doctor that is good! We do need more Doctors in L.V. for sure. We think you will like him, we sure do.

Dr Prabhu has been my Doc for several years. He's always caring and he listens! Hi staff is great and anytime I've needed a referal or refill or whatever, they are ON IT! He's a little hard to get in to for an appoinment, but that's because he's so in demand. Thank You Dr Prabhu for who you are!

Now 89 yof. Have been his patient for almost 5 yrs. On initial visit, i presented office staff for his perusal a complete health summary on my life so far. On meeting I could tell he had read the entire summary before seeing me. Very caring and listens to any complaints i may present at the time. So far after history of three strokes and a heart attack, i'm doing very well for a senior pt. Scheduling is easy, staff very kindly and welcoming. Very serene, pleasant waiting room. Wait time no longer than 1/2 hour, and most times not that long.

My family has been very fortunate to have Dr Prabhu as our physician for more than 5 years.The high level of professionalism demonstrated by him and his entire staff is refreshing. He is a true blessing!

Absolutely terrible. I've been diagnosed with covid-19 and yesterday July 14th I called his office three times never called me back to help me with medication to ease the pain from covid. How this so-called doctor to go home and sleep at night is beyond my understanding. The receptionist lie to me or the doctor blatantly just does not care about his patients. I'm going to be forced to go to UNC Urgent Care where I will not get the right medication that I need because it could only come from my primary doctor. When I beat this covid and get better I'm definitely switching doctors and I'm putting this out there for anybody who is looking for a doctor do not pick this one cuz he is only out for himself and again I don't know how he sleeps at night doing this to his patients

Rude and terribly offensive. Three weeks into my treatment I experienced serious pain. The drug he prescribed for the pain wasn’t helping so I went for his advise and he told me, “let the treatment do its job you wouldn’t want to be labeled a drug seeker.” Offended and unsatisfied I made a appointment with my specialist, he found C-diff a very painful and fatal infection if not treated. He immediately took me off the treatment I was on because anyone who’s seen the commercial knows it can lower your immune system making me more vulnerable to infections but this never crossed his mind, I believe Dr. Prabhu’s racial profiling kept him from doing his job.

Dr Prabhu is our Primary Physician and has been for the past 13 years. He has demonstrated by his actions and attentiveness to our health concerns that he CARES. We've STRONGLY recommended him to our friends.

Have had only an initial visit from a Referral from my Cardiologist. My Wife attended with me . We both were impressed by his bedside manner and communication. Set to see me again next month. Really appreciate the office and ease of scheduling.

I have been with Dr. Prabhu for over 12 years. My whole family goes to him also. The dedication that he shows to his patients you will not get any where else. He explains everything really well and pays attention to everything that you say. He takes care of each and every patient himself. He doesn’t have PA’s running around or other doctors either. Dr. Prabhu does it all and does it to perfection. He absolutely knows what he is doing.

I had Dr Prabhu for years and the problem is not Dr Prabhu, it’s his wife, who runs the office. She is offensive, insulting, and when we left the practice, she put us into collections for a bill that they refused to change the WRONG billing codes. The insurance company even called then and told them to resubmit with the correct codes and she refused, just to put us into collections. The reason we left him was my continual request for him to check my prostrate...in 3 separate appointments he sent me for blood tests, and never once bent me over to check. After leaving him, my new doctor immediately bent me over and found a swollen prostate. I was immediately treated and 2 years later I’m in great shape.

The very best you can get - not only a great doctor with a fine crew, but a very fine & excellent person.

Dr. Prabhu is a truly outstanding primary care and general practitioner physician. He cut his teeth as a rural physician in Beatty Nevada and it shows with his caring, sensible approach to medicine and his patients. I can't say enough good things about this rare find in our growing metropolis.
