Rushed Diagnosis
Disappointed with Dr. Muley’s abrupt, un-empathetic delivery of serious news regarding diagnosis; it relied on one test with no further evaluation despite complex medical history—seeking better care.

My husband was diagnosed with Guillian-Barre syndrome in the hospital and was assigned to Dr. Muley for a follow up appointment. When we went to the appointment, he seemed as if he wanted to rush things along. My husband was having trouble speaking, so I jumped in and tried to give him a brief, succinct overview of my husband‘s medical issues. He rolled his eyes at one point and told me my husband was getting better. Not sure how he made that assessment considering he had never met my husband before and he hadn’t gotten any better. I’m with him 24 hours a day and knew that he’s not only not gotten better, but he had gotten worse. Three days after the appointment my husband was re-hospitalized. Very frustrating experience. I would not recommend him

Impatient and Incomplete Answers
He came in tense, fast talking and brief in delivering diagnosis. Because we know doctors are extremely time-pressured, we are always prepared with few, succinct questions. He showed his displeasure and his answers were hurried and incomplete.

Easy to communicate with. He is a very experienced clinician. Explains things clearly. And the support staff really does a great job. They respond to questions and FOLLOW THROUGH. This is so critical to the excellent care.

Unknowledgeable and uninterested!
This is one of the worst doctors I've seen at Honorhealth or anywhere. I usually see another neurologist, but I had to see him. I sat down and first words out of his mouth was, 'What do you want me to do?' and proceeded to say my muscle biopsy was fine so there's nothing to do. While I can walk for about 3 minutes before I am completely out of breath and lose my balance, he said 'Well you can walk'. Instead of suggesting whole genome, he wanted to do a panel of 200. That will give us ZERO answers. Does he even know what to look for? No. Just rude, doesn't want to hear you, doesn't care about your case, and treated me like some kind of hypochondriac looking for something and gaslighting me about my symptoms. Avoid at all costs!

Find someone who will work for patients
Lightheaded, passing out over 2 years now. Not imagined... real, witnessed, physical injuries due to falling. But after running only 2 tests he determines nothing is wrong and it's psychological in nature. Really. After doing 2 tests. He's supposed to be a step above and beyond when you're referred to a specialist. Do yourself and your effort, time and money a favor....start and end with another provider altogether. I walked in with lightheadedness, and stumbling , told him so, and there was no physical or neurological exam performed ever during the visit. Spent his time instead of assessing... telling me nothing is wrong physically.

Exceptional neurologist
Dr. Muley is very empathic, listened to every word I said, knew all about my very rare disease and the medication I needed to aid in the relief of my symptoms. He swiftly swept away my cares and concerns and put me at my ease. His staff was likewise caring and efficient. It was a most rewarding visit, and the good Doctor reassured me I was free to call on him again as needed. I would strongly recommend him to anyone in need of a neurologist!

Dr. Muley is one of the worst doctors I have seen & i’m very Surprised he is employed by Barrow Neurological Institute. He was very unprofessional toward me. When i mentioned my rare disease at the beginning of my appointment he stated he doesn’t treat it. I informed him i am not there for that condition as I already have a treating physician. I said although it’s nice when a physician is willing to learn about it, he replied “I don’t want to learn, i’m too old for that “ and he walked out of my appointment. He did not even ask why I was there. He did not care at all, and he was not concerned about any consequences of his behavior towards patients. He is horrible, narcissistic & selfish. Do not let Barrow schedule you with him!

I would not trust this guy with the life of my worst enemy. Absolutely horrible manners and treatment. I was treated like trash by his office as well. He wouldn't give me the time of day. Believe all the one star reviews because they are true! I will be posted on other websites too! This guy is not a doctor, not a competent one at least. He thinks he is a god, so I have news for him. He's not! Don't give in to him. He disgraces the good name of Barrow Neurological Institute. The jerk that answers the phone will not cooperate either. Instead he makes excuses and refuses to do what you ask. I have been rescheduled three times because of their mistakes! They never call to remind you of an appointment. In continuous treatment and because of this animal my treatment is being delayed! Ive been nothing but polite and he has been a wicked excuse for a human being. Do not go to this "doctor" if you value your life, time, and money. All he is there for is to collect a check and ruin a good name.

It was horrible, he came to see my son at Select Speciality Hospital. He rushed in the room and was very rude. There was other hospital staff in the room and he began talking very loud telling me and my son that he was never going to get any better and it is what it is. He never asked if it was ok to talk in front of the other staff members that were from a different part of the hospital. When my husband called to find out what the doctor was saying I put my phone on speaker and asked the doctor if he could repeat what he said he told me no you tell him. He got so upset because I was asking questions he stayed in the room less than 4 minutes. He then stormed out of the room and did do add any notes to my son"s chart. My son has neuromyletis optica something he said he specialize in but he could not answer any questions. Please do not waist your time with him if you want any real medical treatment and answers.

Muley was uninterested in my complex condition, did not familiarize himself with the condition, and failed to ask one question about my history of symptoms. It was apparent his goal was to get in and out of the initial consultation as quick as possible. He had little knowledge of neuropathy which is egregious considering he is a Neurologist.

If I could give no stars I would. His treatment of patients is unacceptable for the high standards that Barrow Neurology is supposed to hold. My husband and I waited for almost half a year for this appointment only to be completely mistreated. We came here on the recommendation of our cardiologist to try to find a diagnosis only to be told by doctor Muley "I don't know what's wrong with you" & "you're not going to get a diagnosis". Without reviewing any of the patients medical records.

If you are looking for a warm & fuzzy type of physician do not see Dr. Muley. If you are looking for someone that knows his area of expertise you have come to the correct physician. He was very honest regarding my condition and sent me to another physician that specializes in a different field of neurology.

Worst medical experience ever!!!! Drove 8 hrs and waited 2 months for an appointment. Dr. Muley did not review my history, gave me a quick sloppy physical exam. The worst part was when 2 minutes into EMG testing, my leg began to spasm uncontrollably, he stopped and told me my test was normal and to follow up with my provider and left while I continued to spasm and did not check up on me! We had to ask for assistance to the ER. He was completely careless. Such a waste of time and resources.

Dr. Muley is an excellent doctor. He is particularly brilliant at making diagnoses. He was able to diagnose my rare autoimmune disease and began treating me so I would not deteriorate further. I have been his patient for 4 years now. He is always respectful, willing to spend time explaining, and seems to know the state-of-the-art advances in medical science. If not for Dr. Muley, I would by now have lost the ability to walk--but he was uniquely able to find the right diagnosis and treatment.
