Dr. Sunitha Ghanta, MD

I asked her for a referral since they do not do hormone testing at her facility and she told me she wouldn’t do the blood tests because it was a social media trend and that everything would just come back normal. Despite me having all the symptoms and hypothyroidism. She also stated that of course my hormones would be fluctuating because I’m a woman. She was very rude and spoke to me like I were stupid. She refused to help me and then stormed out and I left and cried in my car. Please don’t go to her or let your loved ones! She honestly doesn’t care about her patients and it shows..

I saw Dr. Ghanta and her staff on 27 December and was diagnosed with the flu- the nurses there are technically competent, caring and efficient- something I wish we could see more of. Dr. Ghanta is probably one of the most caring, compassionate & competent health care professionals I’ve met in my life. I’ve read some of the less than positive reviews in here and simply cannot fathom they are providing a fair and accurate evaluation. Dr. Ghanta is a great physician - I trust her. My $0.02.

She asked me why my problem needed to be addressed today and then said I should tell my obgyn. No other exam or advice. Also, the girl at the front desk charged me a copay when I had already paid my yearly deductible. When I mentioned that to her, she claimed to have 'called' my provider, BCBS. When I called my insurance and asked if they had recvd a call from Cardinal Medical Group, they said no. Go elsewhere.

She’s so mean. She doesn’t are about patient’s health. She’s was so rude that I almost cried. I wish I could make a video and put that here to show you how exactly she behaves. She will make you come back again and again for a small thing.

I was looking for a doctor that wanted to team with me to provide the best healthcare for me. A doctor that cared what my opinions are and not just her own. I have never walked out in the middle of an appointment before but I did when I spent a few minutes with this doctor. In my opinion, she was condescending and arrogant. Her attitude is something that I will never tolerate and I will never go back.

The doctors often don’t listen to symptoms. I was prescribed a medicine for a problem that I was not having. They took a long time to send in my prescriptions, I had to call them multiple times before they sent it in. They are fast about getting you in. If you are not a sick person then I recommend this Doctor for basic needs. If you have any illness that requires a lot of visits I do not recommend.

She listened and answered question. She took extra time with us and did not rush us through. She is knowledgeable, kind and compassionate.

I would not recommend Dr Ghanta. My wife and I went for several years. My wife was dropped when she lost insurance. We verbalized that we would be looking for a Dr to see us both then I was dropped because we verbalized looking for a new doctor. It wasn’t easy finding a doctor during Covid.

Love Dr. Ghanta and her Nurse. Very personable and listens. Have had to call her after hours and she called me right back and was able to help. I always forget the Nurses name, but she is great and great about drawing blood.

My biggest problem with Dr. Ghanta is her reputation of dismissing patients weekly! I've never received a letter so insulting after needing a referral for a procedure that she was not able to perform. The letter said she will no longer be my physician and if I contacted her office legal offices would be contacted. I had to start all over again finding a new doctor and change my information. For some reason she weeds out her patients on a normal basis. Reliable doctor relationship, she is NOT.

Great overall visits

Great overall experience. Very knowledgeable and polite doctor and she has a very helpful nurse. They spent time with me and helped me to get the care I needed.
