Dr. Shekar is very professional, renders excellent diagnosis and practical solutions. Extremely satisfied. Her staff is very professional and responsive.

She always listens to my concerns and goes above and beyond. She figured out what was wrong and got me to all the right doctors. She has more knowledge about gastroenterology problems and understands , which is a big bonus for me. I highly recommend Dr.Shekar

Today I took some gifts to Dr.Shekar , she didn't accept any and asked me to write review instead. Dr.Shekar counselled my 17 year old daughter her last visit, and I should write this, her teenage tantrums have decreased now. I couldn't be happier. She took care of us like family. Dr.Shekar possess strong emotional intelligence, highly skilled in effective communication and deeply interested in making a difference. She is a true asset to the Medical Center.

Good. No idea this was a teaching hospital once I walked in. Medical resident came in examined me and Dr.Shekar came in confirmed findings. So, its like having two sets of eyes on you. Both resident and Dr.Shekar were friendly, courteous and professional. Dr.Shekar answered all my questions, spent time talking to me unlike the other docs who are always looking at their laptop.

Absolutely terrible experience. Does not act like she cares about health concerns. Don't go here!

I have had a great experience with Dr. Shekar since transferring to her practice 18+ months ago. The office has easily worked me in for appointments, and I've never had to wait once I get to the office. Dr. Shekar always takes the time to discuss any medical issues I'm having, spending more time with me than any other doctor I've seen in several years, and she always returns my calls when I have any questions. I have recommended her to several friends after my good experiences with her

Dr. Shekar is one of the most caring, talented physicians I've ever come into contact with. She takes excellent care of my high school and college aged children. So much so that I have sent her several friends and family members!

Dr Shekar is a caring and professional doctor. I never feel rushed when I see her. She takes time to listen to my concerns and is very empathetic. She does not have her head buried in a chart like other doctors I've been to. She treats me as an individual and is excellent at following up to make sure treatment is working or to address any issues. She treats the whole me, not just symptoms. She is open to alternative treatment and has never pressured me into something I was uncomfortable doing.

Medical resident was wonderful. My first appointment Dr Shekar did not examine me, walked in room & said I'm prescribing you an antibiotic. Feel like she was not concerned about my health.

As long as you have insurance you are fine but if you self-pay then you have to go to the community clinic. Even if you are on medication and need a refill. Also, she is very rude. She is one of those doctors who looks down her nose at you as she tells you her diagnosis. Go somewhere else or be treated by another doctor. She doesn't deserve you money.
