Dr. Sukepma Giri, MD

I’ve always found Dr. Giri to listen to your issues and to make you feel seen. She explains everything and also offers tips aside from just medication. I really enjoy having her as a doctor. She makes me feel comfortable, seen and heard. She spends as long as you need with her and doesn’t dismiss or rush you.

My father-in-law and mother saw her for some time, we really loved her, she was patient not over bearing and listened to her patients. Told her game plan even when a PT doesn't agree, she still was very professional and told them her thoughts, but never pushed. If she wasn't so far away, we still be going to her. Wish she move closer to south county!

Dr Giri was professional and kind. She was relatable and offered consults when I had further concerns. Her staff was efficient but friendly.

I found Dr. Giri to be dismissive and condescending. I went to an appointment to get established as a new patient. I will not return. I'll be looking elsewhere for a primary care doctor.

Saw Dr. Giri as a new patient in early 2021, mainly for severe insomnia. Her staff checked me in late, then someone came into the room, didn't acknowledge my greeting and ignored me until asking my medical history, adding it to the system and walking out. Dr. Giri came in 20 minutes later and the entire visit consisted of her asking the same questions repeatedly (for example, asked 5-6 times, when did I last have bloodwork?) & paying no attention to my answers. She also latched on to seemingly random medical conditions that didn't apply to me. Acid reflux for example, despite me not having symptoms other than insomnia and a cough (leftover from covid in spring 2020) that a pulmonologist is treating. She prescribed antacids and an anxiety medication that I insisted I did not need, but I've been taking them anyway because I'm desperate. 4 months later: No change, I'm exhausted, still going with almost no sleep for 2-3 days, then passing out on the 3rd or 4th day. Looking elsewhere.
