Disappointment
I had been seeing Dr Sarkar for 8 years. I recently had a bad flare up and learned bc I hadn’t seen her since the end of 2019 I had to be treated like a new patient. I didn’t get the chance to explain that during that time it was the pandemic, I had dealt with a pre cancer diagnosis, getting COVID, and having gall bladder surgery and an abnormal mammogram that resulted in two biopsies. It was going to be 3 months before I could see her. I accepted the appt bc my knees are filled with fluid. 7 days before my appt I get a courtesy call and they go on to inform me it’s a telehealth appt which I was not informed of when I made my appt. I reminded them my knees are filled with fluid and I needed an in-person appt. They informed me I couldn’t get that bc she only did video appts on that day. I broke down in tears. I had waited 3 months for some relief. It was so disheartening. I have never been treated this way in the 24 years that I have been living with RA

She helped save my life from a rare autoimmune disorder that put me into kidney failure and attacked my lungs (along with other less dangerous symptoms) and has continued to be awesome now that I'm seeing her as an outpatient. For Christmas, she gave me my life.

I have been a patient of Dr Sarkar for several years. I do not have a solid diagnosis but she has been engaged and helpful in trying to find diagnoses. She has been available to me online (once even out of the country) when I need urgent help. Plus she is an overall nice person. I feel very comfortable with her.

I am quite unhappy with Dr Sarkar. She gave me an incorrect diagnosis and absolutely no answers or follow up. She diagnosed me with fibromyalgia and told me a few vague things about activities that I should avoid. I asked about treatment options and was told that there was nothing she could do and even told me there are no medications to help (there are). My primary physician was also surprised and upset with how little information she gave me about fibromyalgia. Look elsewhere.
