My medical history is complicated as I am a pre transplant patient with kidney failure that my regular doctor was not comfortable managing. I reached out to my transplant team at Hackensack and they told me to goto Dr Ahmed. He was their doctor and also the only one who they trust with their transplant patients. I also learned he was the director of weight loss for the hospital. I cant begin to say how much of a godsend he was. He knew my condition, what would help me with my health. I must say I understand why the transplant team referred me to him, and I also some of my doctors in the waiting room, which just validated my choice.

I was reluctant to go to Dr Ahmed, but after seeing my coworkers lose weight and look better, I decided to go. I did not want to deal with my weight and was depressed and did not want to even know what my weight was. I am in my late 40s and life just took over and sad to say let myself go. I am a Doctor myself and knew that i couldn't ignore it any longer. When i first met Dr Ahmed, I must say I was very impressed. His bedside mannerism, his office staff and his knowledge was very vast. I have been seeing him for 9 months now and I am happy to say I am now at my college weight and look and feel better than I ever had. I was on multiple medications for Hypertension, DM type 2 and Hyperlipidemia, and now I am on only 2 and hopefully if I keep it up, I can be off 1 more. I am very grateful to Dr Ahmed and his practice. He was able to give me hope when I essentially gave up. A million thank you to you and your practice for changing my life.

Dr. Ahmed is an excellent physcian. He helped me lose a significant amount of weight as well as maintain that loss. He is knowledgeable about the latest treatment options and creates a plan that is realistic and achievable. He is always interested in how you are doing and how he can help make things better. He is extremely personable. The office staff is wonderful - helpful, diligent, great follow up etc. If you are looking for a realistic weight loss program, I strongly encourage you to see Dr. Ahmed.

Dr. Ahmed is fantastic. I needed a Primary Care Physician and was lucky to found him. He is caring and wants the best for you. He’s takes the time to listen and treats you as if your his family. His staff is kind and personable. I called right after work and was able to see him that same day. Dr. Ahmed and his whole practice are top notch when it comes to care. It’s not easy to find a Dr. who goes the extra mile and cares for you like your family does. Dr. Ahmed and his practice do.

Always kind and compassionate. Reassuring your needs are being met while under his care. I personally have been seeing him for several years and am glad I found a doctor who listens and cares about me as not only their patient, but as a person.

Dr Ahmed has changed my life. When i met him, I was overweight, depressed and just felt like giving up. After seeing him, he made some changes to my medications, added a few more and helped me with some weight loss medications. I am now the best I ever been physically at the age of 55. I cant express how grateful i am to him. If you need help for weight or depression he is the guy. I cant recommend him enough

what can I say about this doctor that every one in hackensack hasnt said yet. He is the real deal, every visit is amazing and I feel very comfortably with him. He takes his time, is very smart and always has the answers to any issues i have. I cant speak more highly of him. I recommend him to anyone and everyone.

Dr was very nice and comforting. I had an issues that was very personal and Dr. Ahmed took his time to explain it to me, make me comfortable. Amazing personality and bedside manners, I am switching my whole family to him. I loved the office from the front desk to the medical assistant. I am a physician and I must say Dr. Ahmed is the gold standard for doctors.

One word: AMAZING! Dr.Ahmed has been my doctor for years now. One of the most amazing physicians I have ever had the pleasure of having. Extremely thorough, compassionate, understanding to my concerns and always makes sure I leave feeling better than I came in. I was so excited to hear he was opening a meeting office. When I arrived, the ambiance was so comforting. The staff was so pleasant and accurate. I am so happy to such efficient and pleasant treatment. Dr. Ahmed was my covering physician when I was in Hackensak hospital a few years ago and he reminded me of my old GP with his incredible caring nature and bed side manner that many MDs no longer have. Even when it was not so good news he helped feel like we will make through it. I was upset when I heard he left his old practice and they would not tell me where he went however fate would have a mutual friend of one of his nurses at his new practice and quickly switched over. His new location is clean nice and neat, staff is friendly and helpful and when you make an appointment your seen in relatively short period of time; I think no one hates it more when you make an appointment and your still there 2 hours later; here you make an appointment and your in and out. 5 stars for ever part of his practice.

Dr. Ahmed and staff are friendly, professional and always very accommodating. From scheduling appointments to inquiries for the doctor, my time and health needs are placed first. I have always been grateful for Dr. Ahmed and the care that he provides, but the Covid pandemic has made me that much more appreciative. I’ve had two telemedicine appointments with the doctor and both were handled with ease and the utmost professionalism. He’s a joy to talk to and the best at what he does. I highly recommend Dr. Ahmed!
