Dr. Sue Eng, MD

Dr. Eng seemed entirely disinterested in figuring out what was wrong with me. I was having bloody diarrhea and abdominal pain before the COVID pandemic caused my colonoscopy to be cancelled. Dr. Eng suggested that she could perform a flexible sigmoidoscopy in the office instead. After telling me she hadn't found anything during the test, she said that it "might be a tumor" but they couldn't do much more until the "COVID situation" improved and that my weight made her job difficult. That was 9 months ago and my symptoms have only worsened with no response from Dr. Eng. I will never return to this office and have steered multiple people far away. Terrible bedside manner and who throws out "it might be a tumor" with zero follow-up and no additional reassurance?!

Was not informative. It was like pulling teeth to get any information out of her. She did NOT listen to what I was saying at all. I had to repeat myself over and over, my husband had to as well.. Showed lack of concern in wanting to help find the root cause of my stomach issues. I don't expect Dr.'s to have an answer right away but I shouldn't have to suggest the next steps, or come up with a plan of action, as I am not the professional. I am really disappointed. I rate her a zero.

Dr. Eng impressed me as extremely competent, intelligent and personable. She and her staff made an otherwise uncomfortabe procedure go smoothly by informing me of what to expect and efficiently carrying out the dual procedure.
