Dr. Sudhir Reddy, MD

Horrible. Incompetent. Dirty.  Took Months to get a human on the phone to schedule appt. 1st try they send me to a closed office, 2nd try they forgot to put me in their appt book. 9 months after starting to try to reach this guy, I finally have my procedure scheduled. He forgot to sign the prescription !! and when my pharmacy called the number on the pad it was disconnected and when they googled the address on the pad it was listed as “permanently closed.” So I had to buy 3 OTC preps. Paid a babysitter, paid for Uber, only to arrive at 6 am to find that Dr. Reddy forgot to put me on the surgical schedule. My paperwork from the doctor said this date. No excuse for this kind of screwup after I’d done 2 full days of the awful prep. Also, there were 2 other patients waiting for their procedures scheduled for the exact same time as me. Didn’t make me feel very secure knowing he overbooks himself like this. He can’t be doing a very good job if he has to race through procedures. $$, not care.

I was so disappointed for many reasons, first of all for making a follow up appointment after my endoscopy, I had to call several times and eventually I went to his office to be able to make an appointment. Secondly, as a person he is so arrogant, rude and disrespectful. Lastly, as a doctor he is careless and irresponsible. He refused to prescribe me the medicine and told me to get some over the counter medicine. I don't recommend Dr. Reddy to anyone.

I don't understand the negative reviews about this fine doctor. He is skillful, compassionate, and an excellent gasteroenterologist. If you pick your doctor for simply providing you with an interpreter, well, good luck.

Ten years ago I would have given Dr Reddy four stars, minus one for office staff, but there have been drastic changes. First of all, they couldn't find my records and were insistent I hadn't seen Dr Reddy. Lo and behold, at my appointment, they had the records in hand. No apology for making me try to locate my own ten year old DVD records. Trying to communicate with anyone other than a message taker was impossible. After Covid necessitated several reschedules, the day before the procedure, Dr Reddy again cancelled the procedure. Joining Chaparral has only made the problem worse. I was again told I needed to get information from other providers. Message after message, email after email, went unanswered. I finally scheduled with another gastro. All and all, this office wasted months and months of my time.

This doctor lacks knowledge and does not understand his field. I do not recommend him. He should retire and sell used cars.

Dr. Reddy refused to provide interpreting services to my family member to facilitate communication and appropriate medical treatment.
