She failed to treat my cancer the first time with radiation. This was confirmed after the cancer came back more aggressively and in just over 2 years. This was confirmed by 3 other Dr's that I sought out after the cancer returned. The office was difficult to deal with the 2nd time. Dr was out on medical leave when I came back in the office to check on the new lump. Her backup Dr sent me to radiation, and said she was going to send me for a bone marrow. when I went to check out, no orders had been written. Went to radiologist, and he sent me back saying it might be more aggressive. That was indicative to me that the backup Dr had not even read my chart. Meanwhile, got a 2nd opinion and had a 2nd biopsy done. 2nd recommendation from the biopsy was to do radiation only. Went back to Office and backup Dr said she would treat me with chemo AND radiation. She had obviously not read the report from the 2nd opinion. I did tell Dr C of my dissatisfaction, before I changed practices.

My chemo was delayed by a week because the nurse inserted the needle in the wrong place telling me the line was clogged and that I had to go for a port study. Went to Riverside, had to quickly get a chest x-ray, more blood work, change my radiation appt. fast, just to be told that there was nothing wrong with my line, the nurse had put the needle in the wrong place and no one thought to double check to make sure it was in the port. Cancer is scary enough without this.

Dr Chennuru put me at ease in 2012 when she started treating me for triple neg breast cancer. She told me she would be fighting it aggressively, and did she ever. She has followed up with me ever since, making sure I have all the necessary tests to keep ahead of the cancer coming back. I recommend her to all the women I know. I truly don't believe I would be here today if it hadn't been for Dr Chennuru. .
