Dr. Sudha Sreenivasan, MD

Terrible. I was successfully treated for ADHD for many years before my doc left the practice and I was transferred to Dr. Sreenivasan. She immediately decreased my medication to 1/4 of my long time, THERAPEUTIC dose. Without it I can barely function. I can't think. I can't remember basic things. I get stuck in my own head, struggling to engage with family and friends. I lost a much-needed new job, after 5 yrs of no job, because I couldn't track all the info I needed to. Dr. S. refused to reinstate my therapeutic dose or to believe the tracking trouble was due to the low med dose. She clearly does not really know ADHD or how medicate therapeutically. My wife wrote her a letter, full of references to relevant med dosing research & ADHD specialty docs prescribing the dose I had. Dr. S/ scoffed at the letter, saying she didn't have time to read it! She is more concerned about being sued for prescribing too high a dose, than my health & too lazy & uncaring to do her homework to help pts.

I had a very nice visit with her. She was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to you. I would recommend her.

Unprofessional and difficult are the first two things that come to mind with Dr. Sreenivasan. Unfortunately for me - my experience has been nothing but a disaster as a patient. Poor communication from the office and a very challenging and borderline dispresctful attitude when it comes to dealing with simple questions regarding both my health care as well as any billing questions.

Dr refuses to write 90 day scripts, despite other doctors at same practice doing so. Claims it's "policy practice" but the practice manager claims it's up to the doctors discretion. Ie- she's trying to get insurance $ to see patients monthly. She told me to text her to f/u on a script, then told me to stop texting her! When I inquired, she txts: "my abuse has been reported and expect a visit to your work place by the police." What psychiatrist talks to patients like this!? Office is gross
