My husband brought to the ER in December for intense headache. Dr Shoemaker dismissed me and said I was 'drug seeking' a later cat scan revealed a tumor the size of a lemon trying to bust out of my cranium.

Insanely dismissive
I don't want to reveal any identifying information here so I'll have to be vague. Just came from ER and this man gave me no treatment whatsoever. I am in extreme pain from an injury, and he didn't even examine me. He didn't listen to me, he completely disregarded why I was there and to top things off discharged me unexpectedly without any medical treatment whatsoever. I will be paying a huge bill for absolutely nothing. I'm so upset I called the hospital and made a complaint about him.

Wow just wow
This Doctor is VERY rude, uncaring, unprofessional, does not want to run test on my sick child tonight because she had already been seen by urgent care and had gotten worse “ they did not do bloodwork at urgent care” he said he would just tell us the same! I have never in my life met a Doctor like this and I work in healthcare! His whole Demeanor was Disgusting!!!!

At 11 pm, I brought our 2 month old infant to SMC ER with RSV, fever, retroactive breathing, sever congestion, lack of oxygen (88), vomiting, not eating, not making wet diapers. All what this doctor did was looking at our baby's tummy and asked the medical staff to do deep suctionning. He did not order hospitalization for our baby and literally told me that there's nothing can help with RSV in children!! He said babies with RSV come to the hospital with these symptoms and if they're admitted, they will put on oxygen and then leave as they arrived!! He ordered discharge at 1:30 am, and asked us to follow up with the pediatrician within 24 hours or come back to ER! Well, at 9:30 am the pediatrician saw our baby and immediately ordered hospitalization where our baby was put on breathing support devices and IV due to dehydration. We stayed at the hospital for 3 days and our 2 month old baby left in a much better condition than what with this doctor claimed in ER. Not sure who hired him.

From the first minute he walked in room ,he was very rude,Scary not helpful didn't care about the type of pain I was in which was a sciatic nerve which is very painful and he thought I didn't need anything for that Pain. He made me cry because he made me feel like a druggie because I wanted medicine when my pain level was at a 10. I ended up going to st. Francis in Tulsa Oklahoma and they gave me an IV and gave me morphine injections and got me comfortable sent me home with pain meds.

Terrible experience from the moment he walked in the door. Atrocious bedside manner. Rude, uncaring, misinformed, untrustworthy.
