Great Doctor, Horrible Front Office Staff
Great doctor but absolutely horrible front office staffing. Not only once but TWICE I have made arrangements for scheduled appointments only to be turned down when I show up. The first time I was establishing care for my toddler and was told I could bring him there for a flu shot (since his first appointment with the doctor was a month out). When we arrived for our appointment, I was told we could not get him a flu shot because he was not a current patient (even though we had an appointment scheduled). This most recent time I showed up for my appointment after confirming I was coming through their online system. When I arrived at the office, the lady at the desk said “The doctor isn’t here today. We tried to call you.” I was shocked. I asked when they tried to call and she told me they tried to call ONCE a month ago and couldn’t leave a voicemail. My voicemail is not full (nor was it then) and I have NO missed calls from them. I will be finding a new doctor for my family.

I have seen Dr. Schrader, Dana Zachary and Malarie Jackson for years now. My whole family goes to them. However, the front desk staff and support staff is unacceptable. So much so that we are considering moving to another doctor's office. This makes me sad as I wish he could hire better employees to handle his schedule and billing.

Dr Schrader and his Nurse Practitioner Dana Zachary have gone way above and beyond in the care of my father. Assisting in diagnosing a rare condition, and assisting in establishing a care plan. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Dr. Schrader is the best doctor I've ever known. He truly takes the time to listen and is so respectful of every situation I have gone through. It is so encouraging to have a doctor that does not stop until he figures out how to help you. He never gives up!

Dr. Schrader and his staff are the worse office I have ever dealt with in my life. They do follow through with anything!!! Dr Schrader does not care about his patients. He does have time to get your complete history in the first visit. He NEVER stops taking patients!! He does take care of the ones he had. I would not recommend to him to anyone!!! The staff does about patients and are very rude!!! The medical never calls back when your told they will!!! There are much doctors who care !!!!

Used to be an awesome doctor. He's grown too big now. You never see him anymore, just his PA, which he has multiple of. Now that we're trying to get medical records they won't answer the phone and won't send us them, nor will send them to our new Dr. He also stopped taking blue cross insurance.

Did not spend adaquate time or respect me as an individual. Then when I had a problem then I was ignored. So when I pushed it then I was sent a note that I was fired as a patient and could not come to that whole office again.

The last time I saw Dr Shrader, he was rude and short tempered enough that I almost cried. I merely told him my first problem and then the second problem in five seconds. That was a mistake! "He yelled at me and said, " we are only going to concentrate on one thing and that other thing would just have to wait." That was my last visit! I never trusted his judgment anyway. I would never recommend this Dr. to anyone! Too many good Drs to choose from who can control their tempers.

I saw Schrader for a year trying to figure out what was wrong with me. He kept saying my labs weren't alarming, and to not worry about the levels that were off...and then he'd just choose a couple supplements, or a detox kit, and sent me on my way. This was every appt. I spent SO much money in supplements and labs there. I found a new doc, and at my first lab review, was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and found multiple other things that needed treatment.

Dr Scharder was a great doctor at Mercy. Since he started his own clinic it is impossible to see him. Calling for an appointment is miserable, you get voicemail all day. You are pushed off to a PA when making an appointment. My blood pressure was very high for several months and the PA could not figure out the combination of treats to bring it to normal. I asked to see Dr Scharder and was told constantly I had to see a PA. I eventually had to move to another doctor to be treated.

Used to be a good Dr, but now is in a hurry and wants to run tests that are expensive and not needed. I had bloodwork done in his office. They use a couple of different labs and rather than sending it through one that was in network, they sent it out of network without my knowledge. I found out when the bill came! Also sometimes they don't want to write prescriptions and let you fill them with your pharmacy. They want you to use their in house pharmacy and not run insurance on the medications.
