Dr. Stuart Marks, MD

I am amazed at The professionalism of all staff up to and including Rebecca and her staff in the Optical Center. And Of course, Dr Marks definitely gets a 10 star rating for results, caring and concern for his patients. He is the most dedicated Doctor I have dealt with. Eye sight is a precious gift and only a Doctor like Dr Marks can instill the confidence that all will turn out well.

Very friendly staff. Everyone was well trained, and knowledgeable. Dr. Marks has taken care of three generations of my family, and we are all very happy with the care.

Outstanding office experienced. Very organized visit. Staff are caring and efficient. Dr. Marks was willing to take as much time as necessary to answer all questions and explain procedures. I appreciated the high level of caring and competence from front desk to techs to physician to billing staff.

I think Dr. Marks is a good doctor; however, some of his staff is the worst I've ever dealt with; does not return phone calls, billing errors, etc. I've been calling billing clerk since July 2020, left 4 messages, wrote one letter and still no reply.

Trying very hard to schedule an appointment after having to cancel my regular appt due to illness on that day. Need to refill prescription for contacts and stated my next appt would not be until February 2020. Have been a patient for 20 + years and very disappointed in customer service from staff to follow thru and return my calls. I know it’s not an emergency, but would still like to be seen as soon as possible.

I have had three appointments canceled because of staff turnover. I was not given a new appointment for the last cancellation. I have been a patient for a number of years and feel that this sort of treatment is pathetic.

From the moment you walk in to the office, the focus is on you. The organization of the practice is second to none. The staff is professional and very nice and welcoming Dr. Marks puts you at ease and is excellent in his explanation's. He discovered that I have potential for glaucoma. He explained the disease and it's progression and the treatments available. Dr. Marks knowledge and patient communication is nothing less than fantastic. The optical department is great. The frame selection is excellent, They have the frames one wants with current styles. The frames and lenses were ordered and came in on time and the fit /finish was perfect. Truly Ritz Carlton service.

Dr. Marks is an exceptional and caring physician. He truly cares about his patients and his care of them. He never seems to stop worrying about their outcomes and has made us feel well looked after. His facility is beautiful with an attached surgical center to serve the needs of his patients. It makes things so much better when we need something more than a typical office visit can provide. I would recommend Dr. Marks to anyone interested in receiving thoughtful care for eye problems. Really loves talking about history and military service members who he seems to especially appreciate. Wish more people had this kind of heart in their medical practice.

Dr. Marks is an exceptional physician and has been my eye doctor since he first came to Augusta in 1990. He cared for my Mom for many years before she passed away and was always so kind and caring toward her answering all of her questions and doing special research into some of the complicated eye issues that she had. Our family really appreciated the extra efforts that he made for her. The staff in Dr. Mark's office is always helpful and friendly and the office environment is just wonderful Dr. Marks has excellent credentials as an ophthalmologist and he always takes time to answer my questions. I trust him implicitly and appreciate his candor and the time he takes to make sure I understand questions. I have to travel some distance to see Dr. Marks now but in my opinion, it is well worth the effort.

Dr. Marks is a wonderful ophthalmologist! His office is extremely clean, and his staff was very friendly and helpful. Great experience!

My Mom is 93 and getting ready to have eye cancer surgery. She can't hear well, is scared, and has a lot of questions. Apparently Dr Mark's is intimidated by questions. He said, "All these questions are making me nervous." I said, "Whoa, that comment just made us extremely nervous." He then proceeded to tell us to "be quiet." We have never been treated with as much condescension and disdain as we were by Dr.Marks.
