Wow worst doc I’ve ever seen
Went in to the ER for severe pain that I was screaming from. He instantly labeled me as pain med seeking and wouldn’t treat my pain. I have been dealing with severe pain for 5 months in a pinky that I’ve had FIVE surgeries on since December that has resulted in complex regional pain syndrome. I’ve been trying to get long term treatment of it but it’s workers comp and it’s taking forever me to be seen and this is a rare condition so numerous doctors won’t come near me. My finger is double its size and I haven’t been on pain meds for 2 months since my last surgery but he already had me labeled as pain med seeking when I came in. I left crying and screaming in pain. Called a suicide hotline after seeing him because I was in so much pain I want to die and they told me I need to go to the emergency room to get my pain treated. What a great solution… I’ve been in the ER two other times earlier this month bc I went. 5 days without sleeping from pain and couldn’t function so that’s too many.

Excellent care!
My elderly mom was seen by Dr. Smith today after falling. He was wonderful, so personable, kind, compassionate. He explained everything very thoroughly and was very willing to answer our questions. We were so pleased with him!

I would be wary of any of the positive reviews of this Dr. I happened to see him in the ER and he was rude and acted like I was there wasting his time. I was there for a "thunderclap headache". I had had 5 of them in 7 days. The others had lasted minutes, but this last one was hours long, so of course I went to the ER to find out what was wrong. I suspected RCVS and he didn't even want to listen to me. He had it all figured out before he even shook my hand. He chalked it up to Occipital Neuralgia and was content to send me on my way. I insisted on an MRI/MRA and he said it was a waste of time as he was confident it would show nothing. And he was right, it came back with a "clean" report. Only, I have had 4 other Dr's looking at that report and they can all see the restrictions in the blood vessels that HE missed..in his hurry to get me out the door. Had he diagnosed me correctly, I may have received treatment sooner..vs months later. His laziness as a Dr, has cost me dearly.

Came into the ER with kidney stones and Dr. Smith took great care of me. Very grateful for his medical knowledge and the professionalism with which he approached my situation. You are fortunate if you are able to get Dr. Smith on duty in the ER when you are in need.

Dr. Smith is an arrogant physician who lacks social awareness, empathy, and is incredibly inappropriate in front of patients and staff.

This guy is super smart and well spoken. He did a great job of helping me understand what was going on with me. He listened to my symptoms and validated my worries and concerns. He took time to answer all of my questions. On a really bad day for me, he offered a lot of support and empathy. Great doctor and person.
