God-like
My parents have been happy customers and patients of AdventHealth for many years. Until Dr. Stuart Skipper, who has been the polar opposite. In short, he is condescending and is very annoyed if you ask him clarifying question. Note the singular in 'question' because I only asked him one question, and he was annoyed. It became obvious that Dr Skipper only wanted us to do as he said with no question. The ICU staff and the cardiovascular recovery staff were all great - all the RNs, physical therapist, case managers, and all the rest of the doctors. They were friendly, empathetic, professional, and knowledgeable, and not one minded us asking clarifying questions. Except Dr Skipper.I won’t let one person, Dr Skipper, ruin an otherwise exceptional experience here at AdventHealth in Sebring, but I am appaled at how Dr Skipper acted god-like and condescending to me, ignoring my dad’s question. He may be a skillful surgeon, but that is no excuse for his rudeness.

Most skilled surgeon
Hands down the most skilled surgeon in highlands county! This doctor saved my life. He took time explaining every detail to my husband & I before my surgery and sat with us the follow day after surgery and discussed all we needed to know. He is top notch in my book. Great bed side manner as well.

Dr stewart did not listen to my mother. He told her the concerns she verbalized about the tumor she has in her leg was not causing her pain when it is causing her pain. I would not recommend him to anyone for treatment. My mother wanted me to submit her name because she was so upset with him. He did not allow time for any discussion.

John went to see Dr. Stewart Allen Skipper for a hernia operation. His surgery will be paid in full by workers comp. Without our knowledge, Dr. Skipper released him to go back to work even though his employer would not let him return to work without the surgery. This caused the insurance company to stop his comp checks. Now, for over a month, he has not received a check from workers comp.
