Amazing surgeon.
Had both hip replaced and now I walk 3-4 miles every day. Pain free and happy.

Doctor Shanfield is amazing doctor. He took my son on as a patient after he suffered a traumatic hip dislocation during high school football practice. The result of the injury was sciatic nerve damage and avascular necrosis. His compassionate way and expertise was amazing. I could not have made it through without him and we will be forever grateful.

I’ll make it loud and clear to every place I can..doctors, insurance, medical board, hospital that Dr Shanfield canceled my surgery hours before do to be late to a pre-op appt. in which you do nothing life saving!!!

Dr Shanfield is amazing. Did my right hip and has me walking the same day. Now I am able to mountain bike, snow skii without pain. I highly recommend him and his team. I like to use the best and I found that with Dr Shanfield.

Compassionate and kind doctor. Dr. Shanfield is one of those types of doctors who listens to you, follows up, and really has great knowledge of orthopedics. You get the confidence you are in very good hands with him.

He is very kind and caring. He takes the time to answer my questions. His staff, especially his PA, Gina Daw, are are fantastic, too. I had total hip replacement in July 2016 and my experience with him and St. Jude Hospital was outstanding.
