Dr. Steventon Wagner, DPM

Wagner misdiagnosed me with hallux rigidus, which is arthritis in my big toe. This is a condition that commonly happens to people 50 or older, and rarely people my age (21). All he did was look at my foot and he diagnosed. No imaging or x-rays. The whole actual interaction lasted probably 15 minutes. At the end, I asked what the name of the condition was again, and he said it and also said that I could G**gle it. I was clearly unfamiliar and distressed with the situation and he made no effort to comfort me or give me more information, and instead was very quick to get my appointment over with amongst other things I don't have room for. He also started off with saying I potentially needed surgery.I went to another doctor for a second opinion after spiraling about this diagnosis. He actually asked me questions about my habits, where the pain specifically was, and took x-rays. He said I had inflammation, and it is completely healable.I will never go to this doctor again.

I would agree with the last review. Dr Wagner is very knowledgeable but refused to do any work on my ingrown toenail because it was not inflamed, since I made the appointment weeks in advance when it was inflamed and had been resting it. Came to have an it taken care of. Spent 8 minutes with the doctor and left with still ingrown nail and an $100 bill. Was told that I could a elective surgury done, which would not be necessary. Save your money and go to a doctor that will actually help. This place is a joke.

Came to have an ingrown toenail taken care of. Spent 15 minutes with the doctor and left with a clipped toenail (still ingrown) and an $85 bill. Save your money and go to a doctor that will actually help - or go to a salon to get a pedicure. At least you’ll get a foot massage and some nail polish. This place is a joke.
