My elderly mother had hip and knee surgery within 3 months. She was discharged the following day with improved ambulation, and was able to do home PT. Dr. Zelicof is an outstanding surgeon as well as his group at Speciality Orthopedics. I highly recommend Dr. Zelicof and his team!

Dr Zelicof is the best , I am pain free after 10 years of chronic hip pain . I would and do recommend Dr Z to anyone that has hip or knee issues . A few of my family members have gone to him before me and a few have gone after my surgeries .

Dr. Zelicof performed simultaneous bilateral knee replacement in June 2020. Although initially planned on having each knee staged on a different day, because of CovId, Dr. Zelicof suggested I do them both at the same time. I was a bit nervous, but I had total confidence in Dr. Zelicof. Please understand that I've traveled the world. I'm a teacher and on my feet all day. My mobility is PRICELESS to me. When people ask why I had them both done at the same time, I answer, "I had complete trust in my doctor." It is a trust that is well-placed. Dr. Zelicof didn't try to push me into surgery. Dr. Zelicof is consistently responsive to all my questions and never fails to call me back or have his PA's or staff attend to my questions and follow up care. I recommend him without reservation. I need some follow up care with my left knee (inflammation) and he referred me to a top notch professional. He genuinely cares about his patients.If you need any work done on your knees / hips, HE IS THE ONE.

Before I went to Dr. Zelicof I could hardly walk and was in chronic pain for a while - until I had my first surgery in September and my second in October. My hips were far too gone and I had both hips replaced. Thanks to Dr. Zelicof I can walk a lot better now in such a short recovery time so far. The chronic pain has lesson tremendously. Dr. Zelicof made me feel comfortable with every visit and well aware every step of the way of the process. His professionalism and kindness to my questions, understanding of pain and wanting to make sure I got the best care possible will never go unnoticed. Everyone at the Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital made me feel at home and was wonderful. Lovely and informative staff. I never felt neglected by anyone there. I would recommend Dr. Zelicof to everyone.

Well Dr. Zelicof have been my doctor for over 10 years. I live in Long Island and I travel all the way to his office in Harrison NY because with him it's very easy to talk about your issue and he totally understand and he listens to you. He weighs all the options of treatment before the last resort would be surgery and that's very important to me. The day of my surgery when I saw him he reassured me that everything was going to be ok because he knew that I was scared and worried, he's very considerate and very caring and I'll recommend him to anyone who needs a good doctor. My surgery was at Montefiore Hospital and too be honest the staff there was wonderful starting from the nurses who saw me and got me prep to the staff who took care of me until I was discharged. My stay at the hospital was wonderful, just like Dr. Zelicof they were caring and just wanted to make me feel at ease after surgery oh and the food was very good never really like hospital food but I ate theirs it was good

I had a great surgery! I healed well and I'm gaining my strength back!

I was totally satisfied with the results of my hip replacement surgery. Dr Zelicof, maybe not the best conversationalist, but that was not what I was looking for. I came home from hospital after one day, able to do stairs and bathe independently. I no longer was in constant pain. I was able to drive after two weeks. I don't normally recommend doctors (too much could go wrong), but I would highly recommend Dr. Z and his wonderful, efficient staff.

I had a partial knee replacement with Dr. Zelicof at the Westchester Medical Center.

Dr. Zelicof did a full bilateral knee replacement Sept, 21-25,2020 for me. I'm very pleased with the care I received from Dr. Zelicof and his staff from the office and New Rochelle Montefiore hospital surgery team and care after surgery was so caring and comforting. Excellent care. Then rehab @ Burke Hospital Rehabilitation Center entire staff was excellent. I'm home doing fine with out patient therapy. Yes ,I would recommend Dr. Zelicof in a heartbeat.

Dr. Zelicof is a miracle worker! I had total knee replacement nearly 4 weeks ago. I felt well enough to return home the next day. The best part-I had nearly full flexion and could climb stairs normally 2 weeks after surgery. I’m not a kid or super-athelete, but a 69 year old woman In average shape. I highly recommend him for his surgical skills, ability to communicate and bedside manner.

I will always be grateful to Dr. Zelicof for the hip replacement surgery he performed on my in August, 2020. His expertise and his staff at his Mamaroneck Office and at Montefiore-New Rochelle Hospital are highly to be recommended.

Truly excellent! Dr. Zelicof and his team both in the office and in the hospital in New Rochelle made me very comfortable, and I know that this has contributed to my continuing excellent recovery. I could not be more happy with the outcome of the surgery.

My experience with Dr Zelicof is wonderful. I had a THR. He is patient, doesn’t rush appointments, and takes the time to clearly explain the procedure/process. His office staff is equally attentive. There is little to no wait time for appointments and have always receivEd call backs from the office assistants and Physician Assistants promptly. The office is over an hour drive for me, but well worth drive.

Dr. Zelicoff is the best. Dr. Z performed arthroscopic knee surgery on my right knee and I feel great. I was walking on the knee the same day of the surgery and by day three I'm walking pain free. His team was outstanding from the office through the ambulatory experience. I also greatly appreciated when I first came to see Dr. Z that he didn't rush into surgery. We worked through more conservative approaches first and then when the last alternative was surgery we went in that direction. He's a caring physician with the patients health paramount and he is an excellent surgeon. I;m thrilled to have chosen him and highly recommend him and his staff at Specialty Orthopedics.

I highly recommend Dr. Zelicof and his staff. His office was very efficient and helpful. I had partial knee replacement surgery 3 weeks ago at Montefiore New Rochelle. The staff at Montefiore could not have been nicer. I choose Professional Physical Therapy in New Rochelle for my PT. I am getting great care there. Who would have thought that all of this great medical care is available right here in New Rochelle. I am out walking and riding my bike after only tree weeks. Thanks Dr. Zelicof
