We strive to keep reviews honest, trustworthy, and fair.

Doctors can not pay for good reviews, nor can they pay to have negative reviews removed.

We monitor all reviews to ensure they comply with our guidelines and don’t include personal information, profanity, libel, defamation, harassment, obscenity or fraud.

Any reviews that are deemed fraudulent or violate our guidelines will be removed immediately.

All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

Realist
Dr. Yarows cares about his patients. He is honest and straightforward, if you see bad reviews it’s from people who can’t handle the truth about their own behavior that contributes to their health. He will be honest which isn’t always what people want to hear. So basically your health is on your hands, don’t expect to be irresponsible about your diet and exercise and expect a doctor to fix your choices. Stop blaming doctors, this doctor will tell you the truth about what you need to do to be the healthiest version of you that YOU can be. If you want a doctor that coddles you, find someone else.

Rude, dismissive, enters inaccurate info in charts
After 4 years of dealing with this extremely rude and arrogant doctor I switched to someone younger, better informed, and compassionate. He was constantly trying to coax words out of me to agree with his inaccurate conclusions. I suffered from long Covid for 10 months and he refused to even admit I’d had Covid. During one visit when I was suffering a crash and very weak and breathless my wife who was with kept trying to clarify what I was trying to explain about my worsening condition. He turned to her and very rudely said, “ I’M TALKING TO THE PATIENT!” He then went on to enter into his notes , “Patient improving.” This was the opposite of what was going on. The next month I moved on to a younger female doctor who was better informed about long Covid and began giving me great treatment with patience and compassion. Dr. Yarrows is obviously burned out and should retire immediately.

Listen to the 1 star reviews. Run. He is Arrogant. Uncaring. Yelled at patient with stage 4 cancer. Angry to get paged when he is on call. Unhelpful. Concur with other similar reviews - similar poor experience.

Long Time Patient’s Family – Jan 22, 2021

My father in law has been his patient for years and as his health issues have become more complex Dr Yarows has become a hindrance to care. Referrals requested by hospital physicians are dismissed by him as unnecessary and excessive. In stage 4 kidney failure he didn't see a reason why he had been referred to a specialist and refused to give a referral for an endocrinologist for additional diabetes management. His "old school" manner may be appreciated by some but as an adult child assisting with coordinating care for an elderly parent he is awful and treat us as a nuisance for asking questions. Yet as I type this we are in ICU getting asked questions about why the follow ups never happened and it is solely because Dr. Yarows didn't think the doctors at the hospital knew what they were doing and we are now at end of life. Run the other way as fast as you can

This physician is very arrogant. I was scheduled for surgery and my surgeon asked him to provide medical clearance prior to surgery but he was very snarky and did not seem to care to provide recommendations to my surgeon as to how to keep me safe and healthy during my operation. I have lost trust and respect in him and will be transferring to a new doctor.

Dr. Yarrows never brings up lifestyle changes or the use of supplements. That is red flag #1 when a doc wants to quickly put you on high dose meds. He is very eager to prescribe prescription medications. #2 He is always dismissive and discounting about the side effects of medication. I have brought up the severe effects a medicine was having on me that he put me on, he either did not believe me or just didn't care and wanted me to continue. He eagerly points out how supplements or lifestyle changes "don't work" or that there is "no research showing their benefits" which is an absolute blatant lie in this day and age. There is enough research out there that has been done on supplements. If you want to see this doctor, do your homework, do your research. If you start getting severe side effects of some meds then know that your concerns will fall on deaf ears.

I've been a patient of his for years. He is competent, excellent diagnostician. If you are looking for warm fuzzies, he's probably not your doctor.

Dr Yarows has always been attentive with me. I come to the office prepared with my questions and complaints and he has been very helpful. I already have recommended him to several people. I am extremely surprised at the comments of Dr Yarows being dismissive.

Dr. Yarrows is curt, dismissive, and punching his computer keyboard to enter data instead of spending that time to hear your complaint and to perform a longer physical exam. He has been quite short tempered lately as well. My family will not be returning.
