Dr. Steven Yang, MD

Dr. Yang is my mom and my Aunt's surgeon. He has the best bedside manner. Him and his team really care about their patients. They are quick to respond and always answer my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Yang and his team at UCI Health.

The doctor treated me very well, he reviewed my images and made his diagnosis and brought an interpreter to explain everything to me. I understood everything very well and they are going to give me an injection for the pain, while another doctor operates on my right knee and I recover, so the doctor can do the surgery on my hip prosthesis. I just hope I get the authorize so they can do it.

Staff and Dr. Yang were very polite and personable and professional

The clinic did not keep the appointment on time. My appointment was at 9:30am. I arrived at 9:15am. After checking in, I was put to wait for a long time. I followed up with the check-in staff at ~10:15am. She said should would check. I waited till 10:30am. She said they were waiting for an open room to see me. However, I have seem many patients who arrived later then me being seen. Obviously, there were open rooms available to see patients. At the end, I got to see Dr Yang at almost 11am. This was frustrating.

My doctor was excellent.

Dr. Yang is personable and professional. All of my questions were addressed, even before I asked some of them. He suggested a cortisone injections and for the first time in many years I am relatively pain free. This visit exceeded my expectations. I have full confidence that my surgery will go well.

He understood I worried about surgery complications and the recovery process without a caregiver to help. He did not push and helped me to find the best treatment options. The wait was somewhat long and the assistant who took my vitals was not friendly at all.

The doctor explained clearly what steps to prepare for my surgery, and different options I had, listened to what I felt most comfortable with . & what appointments to expect , and I was contacted with all upcoming appointments & felt comfortable as was given who to contact with any questions I may have. It was a very good experience , I am confident will have the best care possible. Very happy with the surgeon and staff.
