Due to avascular necrosis & osteoarthritis, Dr Volin recently did my hip replacement surgery. This was my 10th surgery, so I knew what to expect with surgery. But this is the first time I consistently rated my pain a low level 'one or two' from the minute I got out of surgery. Thanking Dr Volin for his work, he insisted it was the preparation work his team did that made this pain level possible. So, THANK YOU DR VOLIN & OR TEAM for your great work. Less pain for me meant healing faster, getting routines back to normal. And that's what we want to happen.

Dr. Volin did an excellent job of explaining my surgery. He was easy to communicate with and listened to me and answered all my questions. I also enjoyed working with John and Katie. Everyone seemed to care about me.

He didn't seem to care about how i was personally feeling and how I've been dealing with this pain for over a year now. Instead of trying to order nerve scans or mris, he just told me to go to physical therapy. I know it's not going to help. I know I have nerve damage or a pinched nerve but he just didn't care to try and even relive any of the pain.

I had back surgery. The results were like night and day. I had severe sciatic nerve pain before and now it's gone. He changed my life with this surgery and I'm looking forward to getting back to normal.

My visit with Dr. Volin about my back pain was very informative. Dr. Volin performed back surgery on me a few years ago so when I experienced back pain again I knew who to call. I like that he is very honest about what is going on & what I should do about it. I trust him completely.

Unfortunately he was on call on a weekend that I was in the hospital. He was told on a Friday evening by my regular surgeon that I needed to have a fusion done on my back.He asked me a bunch of questions under the influence of strong pain meds and made a decision to withold surgery because in his opinion I wasn't having as much pain as I had described. He charted a bunch of lies and these lies continue to follow me in my chart. I was in severe pain but in my opinion he was looking for a way out of doing this procedure due to being lazy. I had to suffer for an additional 4 months! Very cruel!

Took time to answer my questions. I did not feel rushed. Personable guy. Enjoy seeing him.

Dr. Volin did a lower back surgery on me for a pinched nerve. The healing process was easy and he gave me my normal life back! 3 months later I am back to my normal work schedule and pain free!!

Dr. Volin in straight and to the point. He always asks if you have further questions when he is done explaining your diagnosis. Highly recommend him!!
