Dr. Steven Tersigni, MD

I have known Dr. Tersigni over twenty years. He is a very talented, kind and skilled surgeon. He has operated on 14 of my family members and I trust him completely. If you or someone you know needs surgery don’t hesitate to call his office.

Dr Tersigni's office staff are very incompetent. They lost me from start to finish. I had breast cancer that required a masectomy by Dr Tersigni. Every procedure I needed was delayed because they lost my info. Like 4 different times. I had to call and bug the staff because they were going to call me after I was supposed to be placed on the Tumor Board. I never heard from them so I had to keep calling them. Everytime I called of course they had lost me again. I hope my cancer hasn't gotten more serious waiting around for a professional to advise me on the next step needed. Carly was assigned to my case. She acted very put out that she was having to deal with me calling her to find out why I hadn't been notified of my next steps as promised.

I had a gastric bypass done in 2012 by Dr. Tersigni. At that time I weighed in at 239 pounds today twelve years later I weigh 150 and I'm in better health than I've ever been. He is caring, takes the time to explain procedures to you and ready to answer any questions you might have. He's an excellent surgeon and his staff are warm and welcoming.

I suffered with gastroparesis for over a year and a half and could get no relief. I woke up nauseated and would throw up every two or three day. I saw doctor after doctor and all they wanted to do was prescribe more pills. Dr. Tersigni saw me twice and did surgery and I can not believe the difference. I am no longer taking pills for nausea or med for heartburn or acid reflex. I can not tell you the difference in how I feel. I still eat small portions but can eat just about anything

I had a bariatric sleeve preformed by him in Sept. 2018. I weighed 230. Today 5-20-19 I weigh 153. I am so happy I had the surgery with him. His staff was very professional and took great care of me. This was the best thing I have done in my life for me. My blood pressure is down, I can walk up to 4 mile at a time, I no longer need a cpap machine. It is a big decision and he is the best suregeon and very dedicated to his patients. I recommend his 100%. Start your life on your own terms. It is very doable. This is a life saving surgeon.

Dr. Tersigni changed my life and I have referred several friends to him! I first had a lap band placed in 2010 and after great success (nearly 100 pounds lost) I decided I wanted a permanent procedure and underwent a gastric sleeve procedure in 2016. Best thing I've ever done! I was able to discontinue all of my previous medications, have zero residual co-morbidities, and feel and look better than I ever thought possible.

Just okay. Hard to know what happens when one is not awake. Had the feeling a bit more kindness to staff is needed. Has a very high opinion of himself.

Dr. Steven Tersigni has been my internists of choice for many years. I respect and trust his knowledge and ability to deal with the issue at hand. Most recently, my husband and I both sat in a consultation with him and discussed my concerns. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and informative. He went into details as to what my options were. He has a very pleasant mannerism. My husband and I both has questions for him and he answered them all in detail. I highly recommend Dr. Tersigni.
