Dr. Steven Scheufler, MD

My primary physician went to another location so I started seeing Dr. Scheufler as to not go farther location wise. As soon as he walked in to our appointment he was completely rude and unprofessional. He interrogated me on my diagnosis that I've had since childhood and left me feeling stigmatized and attacked. His questioning showed he knew little about my condition or that he even looked through my well documented medical history before grilling me on the spot. Will be going elsewhere.

Dr. Steve has been my primary physician for many years now. I want to share with you one of my experiences. In 2018 I had an issue in what appeared to be an hernia. I was referred to a surgeon, after being evaluated by the surgeon, the surgeon said it wasn't a hernia. After more and more frequent visits for this condition, Carly and Dr. Steve noticed my weight dropping considerable. He ordered some test, and more test, and more test until he got an answer on what was going on. As it turns out, it was a hernia, but that wasn't my weight loss issue. After having a CT scan, it showed a tumor. Yes, I had lung cancer. If not for the persistent of Dr. Steve and Carly for ordering all the test I may not have found out early on and the cancer would have spread. My cancer survival rate for what I had is 15%. In March of 2019 I had half of my left lung removed at the Cleveland Clinic. I am cancer free now!! Thank You Dr. Steve, and Carly. I recommend both as well as Dr. Falvo-Lang.

I've been a patient of Dr. Steven Scheufler for a while now, and I've seen him for various issues. I like the fact that he is a "no bull" kind of guy, and he tells it like it is. Some people might not like that, but I like the "up front" attitude about him. I would recommend him to anybody.

Terrible! Rushed in and out without reviewing my medical history. Went in for back pain and he didn’t even know I had scoliosis! Sent me home with neck stretches! Unbelievable! Have been in pain for 3 weeks and his office never returns my call. Please avoid him at all costs.

Dr. Scheufler is an outstanding doctor. I have several hard to manage maladies and he has done so with excellence, knowledge, and a great bedside manner.

I have known Steven for over twenty years and he is a great doctor and a very good friend. He has always been there for me and my family.

Be prepared to be lectured and to listen instead of to be listened to. I definitely felt he was a competent doctor and trusted what he talked to me about medically but he lectured me about personal matters that frankly weren't his business. The phone staff is very rude. After being established as a patient, I have been unable to ever get an appointment with the actual doctor, always have the nurse practitioner's pushed on me, and am rudely told to go to the emergency room for non-emergencies.

This was not a good experience. I gave this office about a year and it is not for me nor would I recommend it to anyone else. The worst part of this office is that the staff is completely rude and unprofessional. They are uncaring and quite frankly mean. There doesn't seem to be any communication between office staff and the doctor. The doctor spends no time with you and does not listen.

I'm a new patient of his doctor, with one visit. I originally went here because I was told that I could bring my entire family for visits when needed. Well, my 14-year-old son got a concussion from football. I tried to schedule a visit for him within the next week or so but was told because he would be a new patient it wouldn't be until the middle of September. I was told to take my son to Statcare which I already did on Sunday for the initial diagnosis. The lady I spoke with was rude.

I have been a patient of Dr Scheufler for a year or more. I have found him to be a good listener, kind , caring, knowledgeable , and a very competent physician. I feel blessed to have found a really smart caring Doctor. His appointment times have been good. I found his office staff to be helpful and efficient. I would highly recommend this doctor to my friends and family and I have!

Was referred to Dr. Scheufler after a change in health insurance coverage forced us to leave our long-time PCP's. Telephone staff are not helpful, unfriendly & rude on a regular basis. Physician is unaccommodating & unwilling to continue previous care plans in place.
