Everything went as planned, from diagnosis with proper testing, to the surgery. I am a very happy patient with a great outcome after surgery. I had a glomous tumor on finger that went undiagnosed for years and Dr Sampson helped me.

I saw Dr. Sampson on 16 February 2021. He was polite and professional. I very much respected that he and his associates were wearing masks continually while they were seeing patients. This is a stressful reality for everyone, but Dr. Sampson did not show any rudeness or abruptness toward me during my visit. I would definitely recommend this expert doctor to others who had hand or wrist problems (with the bones, ligaments, etc.). I thanked him before I left.

I had what’s called trigger finger in 2 fingers on both hands - he saved my hands - and I play guitar. He assured me a simple operation - it was! Excellent doctor, person and staff.

I was diagnosed with a condition in my ankle and Dr. Sampson told me continuously to try physical therapy, despite me telling him it was not helping. Then made me feel as though the condition was not getting better as a result of me not trying. When I was doing exactly what he told me to do. Finally saw a new doctor who KNEW about the condition, treated me with cortisone injections and ultimately resorted to surgery. It’s a world of difference to see a doctor/surgeon who knows what they are look

He did a 9 hour surgery on my left ankle. Fused it. Prior to the surgery I found him to be attentive, smart and answered all my questions. Yes getting an appointment with him is difficult naturally because he’s so good. The staff and waiting room, not so much. Thats basically what you get at SBUH. He is an excellent surgeon & Monday I see him for Lisfranc injury on my right foot. I highly recommend him. 1st surgery was PERFECT & I’m hoping not to have another one. I trust him to do what’s right

Dr. Sampson is very knowledgeable and professional; does a thorough examination which includes many questions to the patient about symptoms and contributing factors to narrow down a diagnosis. He is conservative in his treatments but explores different modalities. He is an excellent physician.

He saved both of my fingers and really took the time to understand my case and advise me. He's exactly what you would want from an Orthopedic surgeon. You'll be happy you saw him.

I used this surgeon for my worker's comp injury. He stopped the PT way too early. After my surgery, my arm was in a cast and had pins sticking out but according to this Dr. I was only 10% disabled and could return to work. The comp Dr. Ordered more than this Dr.
