I met Dr. Samawi upon being admitted to Salem Hospital in labor with my first child. I'd been nervous about not knowing the doctor that would deliver my baby, due to the "rotation" system most clinics use, and I was so relieved when we met Dr. Samawi! He was very kind, listened to our wishes and took time to explain everything, going over our options without judgment or bias. He was very positive and encouraging during delivery and he made it the absolute BEST experience I could've hoped for.

My first and only experience with Dr. Samawi was at the delivery of my daughter and he's left an amazing, lasting impression. I was so nervous about not having my doctor deliver my daughter but the second he walked in the room, my concerns were at ease. Dr. Samawi took time to listen to me and advocate for what I wanted, answered all my questions, and had the best sense of humor. I truly feel that Dr. Samawi made my birth experience better than I ever could have imagined!
