Dr. Rosonke's Rainfall Medicine Clinic is Awful
I had the most horrific experience with Rainfall Medicine. I had 10-12 ketamine-facilitated therapy sessions over 3 months. One month after my last visit, I developed debilitating anxiety. I was a functional, gainfully employed (epidemiologist and research scientist) adult who, post-ketamine, had a complete mental breakdown. Due to an intense desire to die, I voluntarily admitted to inpatient psych. When I told the therapist she texted, 'Do what you have to do.' Neither the therapist nor MD followed up after my inpatient stay. The prescribing physician emailed me 7 weeks after discharge, stating 'I don't know why you stopped sharing your journey with us.'I took 4 months' medical leave. I spent the next 2-plus years in intensive therapy and working with a psychiatric NP. I had many months of believing I would not make it. I completely withdrew from life. I am astounded this clinic could not have cared less that their treatment nearly ended my life.
