I presented with shoulder pain. His manner was consistently impersonal and rushed; with my second question, he was out the door, speaking into a tape recorder. Bigger problems loomed. He wrote a script for an MRI of my shoulder. That was my last interaction with him. He never followed up on the results of the MRI. I was referred to another surgeon and within two weeks, I had surgery for a fully torn rotator cuff, a torn labrum, and a ruptured biceps tendon. Dr. Rokito still has not called.

I have seen Dr. Rokito twice in the last few years for separate issues and have walked away with the greatest of care and confidence in treatment. My first visit was for shoulder pain. While I had previously been told I should have exploratory surgery after an MRI, Dr. Rokito started with an X-Ray and showed me that I was dealing with arthritis and sent me to PT, no surgery. A few years later I had knee pain. After PT and meds didn't help, we did an MRI and opted for surgery. It was quick and easy to book and go through. Post, I got a full explanation with using surgical pictures and a knee model. The only knock I have about the practice is I have had some long wait times. 4 stars on the practice as a whole, but 5 stars on the doctor and his abilities.

Felt a high level of confidence with Dr. Rokito. I have been to him before for a different problem and he was able to rid me of horrible shoulder pain.

Dr Rokito is an extremely efficient, skilled practitioner. He is a careful listener, who considers the patient's wishes while offering expertise and guidance towards the solution of your orthopedic issues. He clearly explains his diognosis and what alternatives are available for treatment. Although I have not had surgery, I have experienced injections in my knees. They have been painless due to his skill. (I have had them done elsewhere, not as happilhy)

I had a severed rotator cuff surgery done by Dr. Rikito, I'm 53.. My right arm feels like its 20 years old. Great job, highly recommended, matter of fact just made appointment for my wife's shoulder problem. I have read some of the negative reviews, like one person wrote, went to see him for a orthopedic problem, he sent him to do an MRI. That gentleman was upset because he wasnt given medication or therapy. Sir, Im not a doctor but you get nothing until you do MRI, not even therapy..

HORRIBLE!!! I have a history of AVN. I told him this as well as bring my X-rays and MRI, he told me to follow up with pain management and keep a sling on for 6 weeks. I told him it's getting worse everyday and he shrugged and said "yea it's painful" Well I just saw a diff. Dr. That could not believe that's what he said after looking at my images. Scheduled for surgery in 4 weeks.... Keep it in a sling!!! He even had to get his nurse to open the X-ray file. Stay away from him in my opinion!

I made an appt. with Dr. Rokitos office because I was having left shoulder pain. I waited 2 hours for him to tell me I needed an MRI. He gave me no medication, no prescription for therapy, and so literally did nothing for me. Why didn't they just tell me to get an MRI first? Useless.
