Post Menopause and Chronic Pelvic Floor Problems

I have been going to this man since I was 17 and I am now 40. He has delivered majority of my 7 kids and 1 was dr Rector. But he is so good I lived in other states and moved back just so he could be the one to deliver my babies. I really love his patience and dedication to knowing his patients. He is definitely cut out to do this job. He delivered my first born early and he had acute pneumonia . And my second was born naturally backwards then my 3rd was too big to come out and he had to do the cuts to get her head out. And my last 4 all were pieces of cake. I just know from a scared young girl to a grown woman that’s now a wife with kids he has been excellent and idk where I would be without him. He does excellent circumcising on babies and all. He is the jack of all trades!! He is definitely the “Neo” of gynecology . I recommend him for anyone and everyone. My oldest daughter bows goes to him. He has been able to help me with all my issues. The staff also is great!! It is such a joy to see the ladies that check yhu in… Ms. Judy and Ms Sally has known me since I was 17. And the newer staff is great too. This is just a all around good establishment. Even Monifah whose new to me but she was excellent. But my pick, my choice??? Dr. Powers hands down!! Thank you sir for all you have done for me and my family. ????????

Dr. Powers is seriously the most awesome OBGYN I've ever had. Didn't second guess me when I spoke about very real issues I've experienced and was quick to let me know he was on my side. It's so far from what I've come to expect from doctors that I'd initially met him ready to defend myself and my pain. I'm honestly so happy I stumbled across Total Care and have Powers as a doctor. There's also an intake nurse that works at the office, Barbra, and she's such a gem. Makes you feel so welcome and taken care of. I cannot suggest their care enough.

Dr. Powers is truly the best doctor that I have seen in this area! He takes time with you, so you don’t feel like he’s just plowing through a list of people to get to. He is very knowledgeable and up-to-date. Dr. Powers answers all of your questions that you have so don’t be afraid! He even told me that “The questions that you DON’T ask are the stupid questions.” So I highly recommend women but especially younger women who are going to the gynecologist for the first time ever to make an appointment with him because he’ll make you feel comfortable and at ease for your first pelvic or annual exam!

I am not a patient, but my daughter in law WAS!! She was treated terribly by Dr Powers & his staff!! She was a high risk pregnancy! She was lied to and was treated with disrespect! The office staff were making fun of patients in a room that the window was open!! Yes this could be heard by the patients! I would not recommend this practice to anyone!! They should all be fired!!!i am appalled how unprofessional they are!

One of the friendliest male doctors I have ever met. Dr. Powers always puts me at ease and answers all of my questions and/or concerns. He's wondrful!

Everything is fine until you voice your concerns or disagree with him. I recently had a baby and had a high risk pregnancy. I met Dr. Powers due to an ER visit last year. He was very kind because I was not satisfied with with one of his partners misdiagnosing me in his practice. Recently Dr. Powers was very rude to me for no reason. His comments that he made were uncalled for and unprofessional in my opinion. He sent me a letter and dropped me as his patient because I didn't agree with him
