Miracle Worker
Dr Mortazavi has been treating my back ,shoulder and hip pain for years , which has allowed me to avoid surgery and continue working full time. He is both knowledgeable and professional and I always feel like I am in good hands . His core office staff is responsive and caring , as well as his clinical staff ! There is the same amount of turnover as in other areas of healthcare. I am a nurse and have lived and worked in the Valley for over 50 years and say without a doubt we are very fortunate to have Dr Mortazvi as part of the Lehigh Valley Healthcare team !

DON'T DO IT!! YOU MIGHT REGRET IT!!
My last experience was August of 2022 when he implanted a SCS. He claims he gave me adequate anesthesia but I cried and screamed throughout the procedure to no avail and NONE of the staff in the so called OR spoke up. In my eyes this man should not be able to practice medicine let alone a surgical procedure! I have not been right since and I am now seeking help elsewhere.

The doctor seems to have your best interest but the staff not so much. I honestly feel bad for the doctor because of the staff he has representing him is awful, unprofessional and lacks any compassion. I've been a patient with Valley Pain Specialists for 5+ years, an have seen so many staff members come and go. If you are in a heath field or representing a doctor, you should have experience with customer service and I feel that this staff here lacks the proper training.

Staff rude. Doctor won’t answer questions. Very condescending. Poor bedside manner. Facility was not as clean as it should have been. Would give 0 stars if possible.

Office staff was abrupt and made my friend feel like she was ignored after she called twice to try and explain that her original appointment was cancelled. Only after I called did they bring up triage appointment and I was able to get her in same day to relieve her pain. The doc is good at what he does but the office staff ugh

I started with Valley Pain few years back when I was instructed to go to pain management for my back, I chose Dr Mortazavi because my husband was already a patient of his from the time Dr Mortazavi worked at St Luke's and I was very impressed not only with the Dr but also with the PA's that saw my husband. Valley Pain has been a blessing, giving me much needed relief when my pain has become unbearable. Dr Mortazavi and his entire staff have always treated me with great care and compassion.

I was in a car accident five years ago that left me unable to work for a year. After going to another LV doctor in Easton for a lower lumbar injection and having a horrible experience, I needed to quickly find another doctor for my care. I was unaware at the time that very few Pain Specialist that do injections are certified to do the entire spinal area. He is the only doctor and practice I trust. I can't say enough about him and his staff. His care for his patients is remarkable.

I'm shocked that Dr Mortazavi doesn't have 5 star reviews across the board. With a rare disease, I have been to literally over a hundred doctors across the country. Dr Mortazavi is my favorite I've ever been to. He's caring, intelligent, knowledgeable, considerate and compassionate. He gave me my life back through impeccable surgical techniques. We don't trust anyone else with my pain management care. And we've entrusted the care of many friends and family members to him as well over the years.
