Dr. Steven Meyer, MD

Both of my girls have seen Dr. Meyer for scoliosis. He is easy to talk to and cares a lot about his patients. I never feel like he hurries us out of an appointment and I’d always happy to answer all of my questions- which are usually numerous because I teach anatomy and am interested in all things medical. I would recommend Dr. Meyer for anyone with orthopedic needs.

In 2002 I was hit by the mirror of a pickup truck while biking on a blacktop road. My left side in particular took the hit. I had to have a couple of surgeries following that incident. One was a torn meniscus on my left knee. I was concerned that I would have chronic pain and/or need a knee replacement surgery. Dr Meyer did the surgery and was assuring all the way through the process. I recovered very well and was able to return to pain free activities including workouts. When one goes through trauma like I did arthritis tends to build into a body over time. I am no exception and I just had another torn meniscus surgery with arthritis in my right knee. I was very happy with the surgical process itself (again). Dr. Meyer is very professional. I will have to see if the knee pain goes away and I can resume normal activities again. Regardless, I know Dr Meyer was my best hope to avoid a knee replacement. He will be my choice to do one if/when it comes to that.

I'm so happy that I chose Dr Meyer to do my knee replacements ! His kind nature and many years of experience helped me to remain calm throughout the experience. The Staff at his office are also fun and efficient. They, as a team, guided me and communicated with me openly about every concern or question I had. My two knee replacements took place seven weeks apart. Both are successful and I have a new lease on life ! I now walk like a young man again ! It's been ten years since I could get around without feeling pain !

Dr. Meyer is very knowledgeable and an excellent surgeon, plus he is straightforward, honest and compassionate. Just had knee replacement surgery on both knees this past summer and Dr Meyer and staff did an outstanding job. I am very happy with his services!

Dr. Meyer is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. He provides explanations and treatment options a easy to understand way. He is compassionate and concerned about his patients.

I went to Dr. Meyer in 2019 for a "second" opinion after my first tkr didn't feel right. I went to him because I heard so many good things about him, and he went above and beyond what I have ever experienced or expected. He did a revision tkr and I could immediately tell the difference. His bed side manners, demeanor, and respect/considerness he showed my family during all of this shows he cares about his patients and their families. Dr.meyer and CNOS as a whole is beyond the best health care I've ever received

Dr Meyer has done one knee replacement and one knee scope to repair meniscus, removed a ganglion cyst and some arthritis. He did an awesome job. I couldn't be happier at how much better both knees feel. He is a great surgeon, strong christian, a caring and genuine person. He is wonderful at explaining and listening. I will have him do my other knee replacement if it comes to the point I need it, I have the utmost confidence in his skills as a surgeon.

I'm very happy with Dr Meyer and CNOS. The knee replacement was the best thing I ever did for my health. Dr. Meyer is attentive and calms your fears. The after care at CNOS with physical therapy was phenomenal.

He has a great bedside manner and is very informative and answered all my questions.

Dr. Meyer has done a few cortisone injections and performed two meniscus surgeries in the last 10 years. He has an excellent bedside manor. When I have appointments he has a way of making me feel like a friend rather than a number. Dr. Meyer looks at me and listens when I am talking instead of looking at a my file an only getting 1/4 of what I am saying. I know he actually hears what I am saying and that is just one of the things that make you a GREAT surgeon!! THANK YOU Dr. Meyer for giving me or referring me the best care possible. I wish all healthcare providers were as AWESOME as you are!!

Knee

I want to thank Dr. Steven Meyer and his staff for all they have done for my family and myself through the many years I have known him. He and his staff have always been very friendly, professional, and caring . He will take the time to answer our questions . thank you , Dr. Meyer and your entire staff !

Dr. Meyer is a very good surgeon, I had a hip replacement and was very worried about it, he said not to worry, he would take care of me. We had a pray before surgery and he did a super job, he was a life saver for me. God Bless him.

Dr Meyer took the time needed to meet me and determined what needed to be done with my knee replacement. He is a genuine and compassionate soul. The follow up appointment was taken care if for me. He is thorough in his explanations and the expectations he has for your recovery. I have complete faith in Dr. Meyer.

I will need a left knee replacement an as things progress I'll need both hips done and my two shoulders.I'm completely confident in Dr Meyer of Dakota Dunes an I will Always return to him for my care an refer him to all who needs orthopedic care.Dr Meyer is a kind and generous soul I can't say enough good about him.Excellent surgeon and DR.
