Terrible. Arrogant, awful bedside manner (something that Is openly talked about by other area dental professionals). No one ever finds relief from his pricey treatments. His reputation for rude adversarial confrontational behavior is well deserved. Charges $2k for a $5 piece of plastic mouthpiece

Only did a prelim evaluation and then picked another surgeon. He told me that I grind my teeth (I don't. A dentist did some grinding to adjust my bite. No other dental provider ever said this to me.) He told me to throw away my expensive Rotadent brush and buy his sonic one (and buy a new one every year, not just the brush part)! He had his assistant do some scraping on a problem tooth. This did nothing. (My new surgeon fixed it). Adversarial. He may be good, but he's not for me...

I would not ever recommend Dr. Messing to anyone. His fees are exorbitant, $195.00 for twenty minutes. He is misleading as far as the cost of follow up treatments and extremely unprofessional.
