Dr. Steven Mayfield, MD

My mother had an episode where she ended up being diagnosed with Pericarditis. Dr Mayfield diagnosed her with esophageal spasms. Mind you, she had been given many baby aspirin and nitro pills in the ambulance. Her final diagnosis was received in Murray, KY. Unfortunately I had an issue arise that I needed to find care for and this place was closest as I was in extreme pain. He kept saying the pain didn't make sense as there was no trauma. He said it repeatedly like he was trying to convince himself or possibly myself that it wasn't real. I think I had carpal tunnel emergency. I had x-rays done which obviously showed no breaks or fractures. When I suggested if this could be carpal tunnel, as I have never been diagnosed with this and was desperate to find and treat the cause, he said no because I wasn't doing anything repetitive. Never asked any questions to find the possible source. Please do yourself a favor and leave if you hear he is the doctor working when you go in.
