Dr. Steven Lomazow, MD

He was the worst Dr I have been to in my entire life! Very bad attitude and a complete waste of my time. I waited three weeks for my appointment only to have him judge me based on my past. He was profoundly sarcastic and I felt like cursing him out.

Every time I go, he never checks me, barely looks at me when I’m speaking, would only ask if I’m ok with my meds but if I say I’m not ok and still have chronic pain because of my disability, he just says “sorry but you’re on the max dose”, and the front desk ladies always give me an attitude. I just moved to a new state and I requested my meds be transferred (which the pharmacy said it can be done according to a new policy) but the lady just kept catching an attitude and arguing with me, at one point saying “since you’re having trouble switching your insurance you’re just going to have to pay for a doctor so you can get your meds” and when I said I can’t afford that she “too bad, because he’s not going to switch it”

First saw Dr. Lomazow just after (via Telehealth) the start of the pandemic with concerns that I would begin suffering sciatica flare-ups as physical therapy was not available due to the virus. Dr. Lomakow prescribed Gabapentin noting that for some it is a Godsend, and other little help at all. I benefitted greatly. Last saw Dr. Lomazow as a follow up in June 2022. Excellent doctor.

I took my 16 year old son here today for his first appointment. Dr. Lomazow was the rudest most arrogant MD I have ever interacted with. He checked my sons reflects and immediately suggested that he has a “focus issue” and putting him on a medication is needed to “correct this issue”. My son was NEVER evaluated for this “focus issue” that he he suggested, but continued by suggesting medication, nor did he bother to speak directly to my child. When I explained that I wasn’t willing to place my son on any medication without properly being evaluated, Dr. Lomazow instantly began insulting my 16yr old son. Being that I’m a MOTHER before anything, I told him that he’s not going to talk about my son I’m any disrespectful manner and how he’s the most unprofessional doctor ever. This disgrace of a man should NOT be working with kids or anyone at that! How is he still practicing with all of these negative reviews? Beyond baffling!!!

Very educated and detailed Dr. I have been seeing him for a few months with a very tough Migraine issue. As a person, I am always happy after a visit with him. I learn so much from him as he is also a professor.

If I could rate this a zero I would; by far one of the worst medical experiences I’ve had. Went to seek treatment for my mother who has been suffering with chronic back pain and she left there crying! This doctor is insensitive, rude and incredibly disrespectful. We were rushed, offered no words of comfort and her concerns were dismissed as just a product of old age. All he could offer was a prescription for anxiety/ sleep and a ‘I can’t do anything more for you’ explanation. I asked to speak to management so I could express my concerns on what felt like a violation of patient’s rights and was just met with a response of “he already knows you’re unhappy”. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere !

If I can give this guy zero stars I would. My boyfriend has been waiting for a prior authorization for Aimovig for four months and front desk lady has the audacity to fight with me over the phone and make excuses for why the doctor hasn't been there. He clearly does not care about his patients - I highly recommend seeking another doctor.

This guy is rude, judgmental, and an all around jerk.

Dr. Lomazow took time and effort to ask all pertinent questions possible so he could get the most accurate information from me (patient). He is precise, and I love that about him. There is no hesitation that he's a great neuro-Doctor.
