Evidently does not practice best-practices for some diagnosis and missed a new diagnosis that contributed to blindness. Blindness likely could have been prevented had thorough evaluations been done, such as taking regular pressures in eyes for anyone at risk for glaucoma. Update from DR comment: We trusted him with the care (2013-2020) of our two small children born with congenital cataracts leading to an array of other challenges. Despite our concerns with clear low vision and something not being right, it was ignored. Finally, we went for another opinion and were surprised by a glaucoma diagnosis. While bedside manner is quick and "fun" for kids, extremely disappointment by the lack of thorough evaluation. We now have a child that lost their vision due to his lack of best practices and are faced with all the challenges that come with that. We commuted and kept all appointments, should have commuted further for better care sooner. Dr. Steve, own you should have done better.
