The most detailed and specific doctor appointment I have experienced in years. Very refreshing for a change.

It is my firm belief that the physician in question should consider retiring from the medical profession. Earlier today, my father, who is grappling with thyroid issues, accompanied by my mother, sought his expertise to address concerns pertaining to a prominent goiter on his neck. Regrettably, our experience with this doctor was characterized by a distressing lack of humility and an absence of essential bedside manners.My mother, in particular, departed from the medical encounter profoundly disheartened and frustrated, given the palpable dearth of empathy exhibited by this healthcare practitioner. It is truly disheartening to observe the erosion of compassion within the medical community. Such a lamentable state of affairs!

He made a connection with us as soon as he walked into the room.

He was knowledgeable, personable, flexible and was a very good listener. I would recommend him to anyone I know who needs to see an Endocrinologist.

Doctor Landgarten was very good at explaining things and suggesting what would be the best for me as far as treatment for my problem. He is very easy to talk to and makes a person feel relaxed. I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of his field of medicine.

Dr Landgarten is very thorough and is a excellent at educating his patients. Based on our current experience, he does not prescribe medicine unless there is a good reason to do so. He asked a lot of questions. In my opinion, that is "good doctoring."

Dr. Landgarten listens patiently and answers questions and explains things very thoroughly. He and staff are all very friendly, welcoming, and professional.

He always listens to what I have to say and he always explains things to me. My A1C has gone down thanks to his treatment plan

I have been a patient of Dr Landgarten for over a year. After revealing my diagnosis change to Type 1 LADA, he began my education on what to change for positive results. Two weeks ago, my A1C is in the normal range. I highly recommend Dr. Landgarten. He really does listen.

He explains everything, taking time to answer all of your questions. When I SD thank you, he said my pleasure. A BIG MD w/Compassion.

1. Did not listen to symptoms. Told me they didn't matter, only objective data did. Despite having had steroid injection which increased lab values. 2. When asked to explain his rationale as to why he didn't want to listen he said my symptoms don't matter. 3. Called me an idiot on first visit due to me not wanting to take the covid vaccine due to health issues and personal preference. 4. Rude, and condescending would ask a question then interrupt when I tried to answer. 5. When lab orders placed never was right always had to call back to get lab ordered correctly. 6. Falsely documenting symptoms and information in my chart. Mary- office manager was amazing . Do not recommend Dr. Landgarten

I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks since I had a stroke 2 years ago. I can’t wear the masks because it causes me to have panic attacks. I was given a face visor to wear by a health worker at the Drs Tower, when I told her I have anxiety. When I went to the appt with Dr Landgarten I had my visor on. He said to me that those visors don’t do any good and asked me if I’d had the vaccine. I said no and was going to say I’ve already had Covid in early 2020 and had my own antibodies now, but he cut me off before I could finish and said I had to put a mask on and not nicely either, or he would not continue with checking me. I told him I’d try. I put on his mask and within a short while I knew I couldn’t wear it. I could not breathe thru my mouth or nose. I became anxious and couldn’t breathe. I asked for my husband and Darla went to get him. Dr left, Paul gave me a Xanax I was dizzy and limp. After several minutes, he pushed me out on my rollator and I had had a TIA. I slept all day.

Dr. Landgarten takes the time to listen to all of my concerns and answer any questions I have. He makes me feel comfortable during my appointment .

If I could give this Dr a zero I would. I was rudely spoken to. I couldn’t get a word in edgewise. His visit manner is awful and wouldn’t recommend him to anyone. If you need a good endocrinologist this isn’t the choice you should make. I came to Dr Landgarted on a referral and it was a waste of my time. He is idea on how to treat the thyroid is not consistent with the newer medical information of how to treat the complete thyroid health and medications. He definitely needs to read the book “Stop the thyroid madness”.

If I could give this man zero stars I would. My mother has been struggling with her thyroid for years, she finally was able to get a referral and this doctor was so disrespectful and degrading telling her she was taking too much thyroid on purpose! Who wants to take their thyroid medicine in the first place! His bedside was appalling, frigid and lacked compassion for the patients in front of him. Shame on you Dr. Langarten
