My experience with Dr. Jones was 8 years ago, He did an anterior hip replacement. I've been pain free since then. I cannot say enough good things about him. I breezed through surgery and recovery. I highly recommend Dr. Steven Jones.

Finger surgery did not turn out well.
had good beside, but finger surgery cuts were made in an odd place and unusually deep. Took months to heal instead of days.

Have heard good things about Dr. Jones, and like to know if anyone has had a knee replacement with him recently either in New Mexico or Colorado. Dr Jones saved me big time. He fixed another surgeons huge mess. I had another orthopedist replacement my hip initially and I was infected with staph during surgery. The doctor then replaced my hip again and the stem became loose and was moving in my femur . I was in a wheelchair for a year Dr Jones replaced my hip after the other doctor flubbed it twice and although it dislocated a few times post surgery( the result of 3 replacements ) it is now not dislocating and I’m walking!! Great staff!

Dr Jones performed an anterior hip replacement on my right side in 2013 .When I was wheeled into the operating room there were at least 2 8' tables of hip replacement parts. The doc explained he wanted to make the replacement was perfect a fit as possible. Later a friend had a posterior with another dr and DURING HER surgery it was discovered she needed a different size than what was there. She was sewn up and sent home without a hip until another surgery could be scheduled. Jones was great!

Dr. Jones apparently does not like to answer phone calls from patients. I saw him several times for a knee problem and after he gave me a cortisone shot, I tried to get in touch with him since the shot did not help. I called him over five times, leaving a message to please contact me. I never heard from him... and finally had to seek help from another doctor.
