Dr. Hong is very professional and explains the procedure well. His staff made me feel comfortable and at ease and couldn't be more considerate of my concerns. Will recommend Dr. Hong and his staff to anyone needing this procedure. And the anesthesiologist (Dr. Gunselman) eased my fears about the amount given to me since I am a light-weight person and sensitive to drugs.

Having a scope and colonoscopy is no fun at all. What a marvel it was though, to find such an EXCELLENT doctor and staff there to listen and help. From the minute I walked into the thoughtfully designed waiting area of the Digestive Center, to the cheerful woman checking me in, to the warmly professional nurses getting me ready, and finally, to Dr. Hong's attentive questions and assuring command of his field, I couldn't have been in better hands. Many thanks to each and every one of you.

I went for a scope, and was given all sorts of after care instructions (while still under sedation). I got a call out of the blue weeks later so see how my prescription was going, I had been rescheduled and prescribed over a voicemail. When I called back with questions, his staff was unable to answer them. When I asked about the nature of my diagnosis and treatment, I am stonewalled. What kind of doctor/practice wont talk to you unless you're sedated?

Dr. Hong is very considerate of patients fears and feelings. I would recommend him to any one who needs a Dr. that makes them feel comfortable and takes the time to answer any and all questions a patient asks. His bedside manner is A+++ in my book and I have been going to see him since 2007. I trust him on any treatment he recommends.
