Dr. Steven Grover, MD

He was very short and impersonable and wasn't interested in listening to my concerns. Will not return to him. I was very angry after I visited with him and will not return to his office nor will I recommend him.

He was terrible! He was not personable at all and did not give any information about my exam until I started asking questions. Even then he gave me short answers with no explanations.

Dr. Grover performed my prolapse repair surgery in October 2021 and I couldn't be happier with the results. We discussed the options beforehand and, given my goal to return to an active lifestyle, we elected to perform a bladder mesh sling, partial hysterectomy, sacrocolpopexy, and posterior repair. I will acknowledge that his bedside isn't exactly warm and fuzzy, but he is extremely good at what he does, which is urogynecological surgery. There may be personality differences, but you'll be in good hands with Dr. Grover. Also, his assistant, Marilee and the rest of the staff were awesome!

I hope this is the same doc but I haven't felt like he cares about my dear and preferences as a woman with scared issues. Probs bcuz he deals with it day in and out and sees so many people but I would still appreciate a more comforting doc. I felt pressured to do all the things he wanted and didn't feel like he listened to my concerns or fears well. I had to really stand strong on what I wanted or didn't want to get it heard. He kept pushing for birth controls to help my painful periods with a 80 percent chance of Endo being the cause, so I tried an IUD hormone but it was so very painful I and had bad side effects that I didn't last 26 hours on it. He told me it could help with the growth inside on my ovaries but then right before putting it in I asked again to confirm that it was help and he was like "haha no! The best you can hope for is that it doesn't grow in the first place!" What a thing to say to someone in pain with internal growth. Docs are supposed to help not make worse

I had a very horrible experience with this physician with my legs in the stirrups. Be very careful about seeing this physician. Don't let your daughter's go to him.
