Dr. Steven Gillespie, DPM

I moved to GV several yrs ago. I selected Dr. Gillespie because he was in the same medical Plaza and my new Family Dr. Said he was good. I have had terrible feet and had already had 3 or surgeries before moving here.. I lost track of him when he went out to the hospital. I tried a different podiatrist but they were disinterested. When I found him, I moved back to him. I've followed him around to 2 more offices.. He did a small surgery on a toe. But that wasn't the only help I got. While preparing for that surgery the prep nurse, surgical nurse and recovery nurse ALL said ' is your heart beat always this LOW ?' Thanks to Dr. G and his staff, I also ended up with a pacemaker, 2 weeks later ,which I apparently needed badly. Think I'll stick with him. And he is funny and personable.

Dr. Gillespie agreed I needed new orthotics. But I wasn’t given as exam of my feet. No cancer check nor a condition report of the medical status quo. When the present orthotics were returned to my sneakers they were put back but were actually reversed. This caused my knee to swell inordinately. They promised a rush order on the orthotics but was finally told that rush orders weren’t possible. After an inordinate amount of time for the pair, the pain compelled me to see another Podiatrist who told me that given my foot problems, the methodology to create orthotics would not be effective with the nature of my foot problems per Dr. Gillespie. I asked for a refund of the $225 to which the doctor he agreed . Then his office called me back shortly thereafter to inform me that there was no record of my payment to them. I missed the call informing me to pick up the completed pair. Therefore, they were indeed paid for or wouldn’t have been told to pick them up.

Dr. Gillespie is a wonderful doctor. He explains in detail and gives you treatment options. He has a caring bedside manner listens to what you have to say and I never feel rushed during my appointment. He recently performed surgery on my foot which went very well. He called (himself) the next day (a weekend) checking to see how I was recovering. I can't say enough good things about Dr. G. I would recommend him to anyone requiring a podiatrist.

Dr. Gillespie is fantastic. I went to him for second opinion, found ankle still fractured, started me on treatment and followed through during course of treatment. He explains things well, and has a caring personality. His staff is helpful and kind. I highly recommend him.

I broke a metatarsal bone in my foot, and saw urgent care. I was told to see a podiatrist or orthopedic doctor within a week. Found Dr Gillespie and saw him. His office is wonderful, and he sees you on time or early! I had surgery 2 days later. All is going well. You couldn't ask for a kinder, truly professional doctor! Caution--it is a long walk to his office from the parking lot!

Dr. G was kind, understanding and accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for anything more!

What a great doctor! Great bedside manners, care, knowledge and truly takes time to listen. For so long we traveled to Tucson for foot care now we have the Best of the Best. The office staff is outstanding, kind and very helpful. You gals are doing a great job! Fran King
