Dr. Steven Forman, MD

Worst doctor experience ever! I needed a new cardiologist after my old one moved out of state. Dr. Forman was recommended by my wife and neighbor. I had to wait 6 weeks for an appointment. After filling out the usual forms I was taken to an exam room and left there for one hour. No one came by and told me what was causing the wait or how long it was going to be. As I was getting ready to leave Dr. Forman showed up. He asked how I was doing and I said I was seconds away from leaving. He asked why and I said because I had been waiting for an hour. Rather than apologize or explain he said "so I should have cut the procedure I was doing short because you're impatient ". Seriously?!? He wastes an hour of my time and then gets annoyed with me because I'm not happy about it. I stood up, told him what I thought of him, and walked out. I have never encountered this kind of rudeness in a health care professional before. It makes me wonder how much he really cares for his patients.

After my regular Cardiologist had to retire I chose DR Foreman, who had place two stents in my heart, as my primary Cardiologist. He has done proper testing and followup on the procedures and, IMO, is an excellent DR for heart problems. He always makes time for any questions I have and never rushes me even when I ran after him down the hallway when I remembered something I had forgotten to ask he stopped and politely answer everything I needed to know. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Forman is very knowledgeable. However, he discharged me because he kept pushing me to get bypass surgery and I kept pushing back, because I felt fine with no adverse symptoms. When I asked him if getting surgery would prevent me from getting another heart attack, he said no. Isn't that the point of "treatment?" (Especially a procedure that costs $150K and has a long recovery time!) He also DEMANDED to know why I wasn't taking my statin medication. I told him I was concerned about long-term side effects, especially diabetes. I knew he discharged me because: 1) At the end of the last visit, he made no mention of follow-up appointments or testing; and 2) I received final bills from his office for my insurance co-pays due. That was a cowardly move on his part, for not telling me directly he no longer wished to see me, which says a lot about his character--or lack thereof!

Dr Forman is wonderful, he has done 3 procedures on me, I'm very happy with his caring manner and results of his work.

Dr. Forman is an excellent Cardiologist. He's patient, knowledgeable, and informative. I've worked with him and he's my Cardiologist. I would refer any of my family and friends to him. I love his Physician partners and the office staff.

Dr. Forman was responsible for stabilizing my B/P when I was taken To ER due to extreme high B/P and sending me home with meds that worked. He has continued monitoring my heart health and Hypertension on a regular basis, making adjustments in my meds as needed, which allows me to live my life without concern. I feel very comfortable with the fact that he is a no-nonsense doctor, while having the ability to put patients at ease in discussing concerns. Feel extremely confident under his care.

Office personnel are very friendly and helpful. No long waiting line. Dr Forman is very pleasant and he doesn't seem to be in a big rush to handle my concerns.

I have received excellent care from Dr Forman. I have the utmost trust in him.
