Excellent Experience
Dr. Factor is very knowledgeable. He listened carefully to my health issues and concerns regarding migraines. Together we came to a decision of treatment which has increased my quality of life 100%. He is very responsive to any questions I have called the office for assistance. Highly recommend!

Dr Factor has 0 social skills and lacks bedside manner. He was very much aware that I suffer from anxiety and initially seemed to be cognizant when explaining things to me. In the 2 years I saw him he pushed 7 different medications on me. This should have been a red flag. Last spring on an MRI that my chiropractor ordered they found a lesion. His response in front of me was “oh cr-p” he went into further testing for possible diagnosis including Multiple Sclerosis. I began to panic and he reassured me saying it may be a “nothing burger”. I did my best to schedule things but I’m a teacher and it’s challenging. He called me, at work, and told me off of 1 result that he was “90% sure I had MS, he would bet on it.” He was bullying me into getting a lumbar puncture. After getting a second opinion- they ruled out the likelihood of MS as there is no other evidence for it. This man turned my life upside down and caused me immeasurable trauma that I am still working through in therapy.

What a let down, the first visit was great. Then on after I felt rushed or dismissed. Finally I requested my medical records only to discover there was were multiple diagnosis that were never discussed or treated. Also tests that said would be run on a later date came and went without being tested. I’m left with feeling the same way I did when I went in. Staff was rude and when mentioned to the dr during the visit I was told that there were understaffed. As if that is to ever be rude to a person simple asking a question about the paperwork.

I was transferred to the doctor when another practitioner left. I have two primary issues. migraines and balence. During the last app I was asked to choose which one I wanted to address. I am not an issue but a person.

REVIEW: Steven Factor, MD; Neurology, Abington (PA) Neurological Associates Cannot recommend highly enough. Saw him for a new patient appointment. His ability to meet a stranger, establish rapport, and convey concern while effectively and efficiently taking a history and doing an exam might be the best I have ever seen--and I speak with some experience as I'm a retired physician with 43 years in practice. Add to that he very clearly knows his subject area extremely well. Very, very pleased.
