Dr. Dorsky and his staff are exceptionally talented professionals. I've worked with them over the past 16 years while I underwent multiple spinal surgeries. I know that I would not have the quality of life that I am currently experiencing in my seventies without them!

First, the Dorsky clinic is immaculate and cheerful & competent. It’s busy, with good reason, but rarely a long wait. After interviewing three other highly qualified orthopedic surgeons, my wife and I chose what I have come to regard as the perfect Dream Team — Dr Dorsky for his years of experience & acumen and his irreplaceable PA Maryanne Rivera — to do my ACDF in August 2022. The Dorsky Team performed flawlessly, and I am now preparing for a second surgery, this time to address sciatica on my 84-year old lumbar vertebrae. This one will be far more challenging, but I have confidence that the Dream Team will get me through.

Information regarding my condition as well as a solution was clear and fully explained. Surgery was a success, I am pain free and looking forward to engaging in activities I enjoy once again. I appreciated Dr. Dorsey’s direct approach regarding the progression of my diagnosis and my options based on my anticipated outcome.

I was in excruciating pain for weeks and had seen several other doctors when I first saw Dr. Dorsky, who was able to diagnose my problem almost immediately. He was able to get me into surgery incredibly quickly (less than one week from our first meeting), which resolved the issue. after recovering from surgery I am virtually pain free and back to work.

Dr. Dorsky has been caring for my conditions from day one. He and his team have always been attentive and through. His consultation is clear and direct. Highly recommend.

Dr. Dorsky and his PA Maryanne were great. When I asked questions or had any concerns, he responded fully without any hesitation. My surgery (L1-L4) and recovery went very smoothly, and I no longer have any pain. Facility and staff are the best.

Dr. Dorsky was very knowledgeable and helpful getting our son through a period of time while he suffered from back issues that kept him out of sports. We felt comfortable knowing Dr Dorsky was on our team to get our son back to doing what he enjoyed most.

Dr Dorsky comes across as arrogant, unable, and unwilling to answer questions outside of his own diagnostic opinion. I brought my adolescent son in for an exam today for help with obtaining a diagnostic impression of his back pain. I am in the medical profession myself. I would not recommend Dr Dorsky to anyone seeking a compassionate, well-related physician.

Personable and made me feel comfortable. Addressed my issues and I didn't wait long either. His staff is welcoming and pleasant as well.

I am an 81-year-old male and in 9/2022 I experienced severe pain in my lower back and left leg. After some research, I contacted the NJ Spine Center. Dr Steven Dorsky informed me that I had spinal stenosis. He prescribed an MRI test and said that we would have a fuller discussion after we had results. The MRI confirmed the initial diagnosis and revealed that there was disc deterioration and some age-related wear and tear in the lumbar area. Dr Dorsky, and his PA, Mary Ann Rivera, spent time discussing the conditions and treatments. In November I agreed to have a laminectomy procedure and spinal fusion surgery. Follow-up appointments with Dr. Dorsky and PA Rivera, along with x-ray results, have been positive. At this time, 16 weeks after surgery, I wake up in the morning with no pain in my lower back, and I have progressed from minimal walking prior to the surgery to 2-3 miles per day. I am very grateful to Dr Dorsky for his skills that alleviated my pain and restored my life style.

I am 45 years old and have been seeing Dr. Dorsky since I was 28. He has done 4 surgeries on me in that time and I couldn't be happier with his work. Not only is he great, but his Physician Assistant, MaryAnn, is wonderful also. They are very thorough, they go over everything, test everything and make sure they have the best plan in place. I have 3 lower back surgeries from L4 down to S1 and the most recent was neck surgery for C3-C5. Every surgery has been a success and wouldn't trust anyone else with my spine. From the first day I met him, I knew he would be the one to do my surgery and as time has gone on he continues to work on my spine when necessary. He does not push surgery, he only wants what is best for you. I can't thank him enough for the relief he has given me and ability to have a productive life with my 4 children again. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs help resolving back and neck issues.

I feel that Dr. Dorsky left no stone unturned in my quest to relieve my back and neck issues; in order for me to try and move on with my life. The office staff is excellent as well.

Dr. Dorsky is an excellent surgeon. He performed neck surgery on me to remove decompression. While he is extremely professional, he is direct and straight to the point which may cause concern to some. For me he is the best surgeon and a caring physician. I would highly recommend him.

I had severe leg pain in my right leg Visited Dr Dorsey and we reviewed my issue scheduled me for ct scan and X-rays. Follow up visit where it was determined I had my disc out of place and pinching my sciatic nerve. I had 3 different surgeries with Dr Dorsky and all went perfect and I would recommend Dr Dorsky and MaryAnn his PA both excellent

I went to Dr. Dorsky after visiting several orthopedic surgeons that I did not feel comfortable with. Dr. Dorsky was recommended to me by a neighbor and I made an appointment in a few days. Dr. Dorsky was very thorough and explained what I needed to have done to correct my problem. He explained the surgery and made me feel very comfortable. After having difficulty walking and in pain for over a year, I was back on my feet pain free in a few weeks. I am very pleased with Dr. Dorsky and the staff for their professionalism and concern for my care and better health.

I went in to see Dr. Dorsky with a referral from my PCP. I had debilitating pain in my entire leg. He read my MRI and I had a damaged disk. He verified I was suitable for surgery and his staff scheduled everything. It was effortless from my end regarding the surgery. My pain was gone immediately after the first surgery. The second surgery was to fortify my spine. His PA Maryann is beyond amazing! She makes you feel very comfortable and answers all of your questions. This doctor knows his stuff, he knows when to invade into your body and it shows threw his record if you decide to look into his work. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone who needs help with spinal injuries

My Mom, is 93 years old. Six weeks ago she could not walk because she was in so much back pain and her legs felt like they were going to fail her. Dr Dorsky did an xray and found a compressed fracture. We thought Mom would never walk again. Well, Dr Dorsky gave her a waist brace and some medication and Mom is now walking again and has weened herself off of pain meds! Dr Dorsky has been our family back doctor for years. He is by far an expert in his field. Our family highly recommends his care!
